Dear Diary,
He was perfect. He must be the most perfect guy in the world. Not that he would notice me or anything.
I wish he did.
We Nerds go by certain rules, like, “Education is everything, anything else comes in second” and “The key to our futures is our knowledge, never let anything get in the way” This included sports, fun, and especially, relationships.
My parents must be absolutely proud of these rules. Dad’s a surgeon and mom is a business executive, of course they want the absolute best future for me.
But what they want isn’t what I want. I want for them to be proud, proud of me.
I feel torn. Should I do what is best for my future, or what is best in my heart?
