Backstory: Grew up in a small town in Florida. Turned 18 and decided to move out of her adoptive family because her parents died in a car crash. Knows she a has a brother out there named Jared but doesn't know where. Moved to wherever this story takes place in to find her brother and start her life over again.

Chapter 1: I hate my computer sometimes.

-Skye's P.O.V.-

I went into Starbucks. I didn't feel like going through the drive thru because my foot hurt from switching from the brake to the gas all the time. I don't know why, but I drive with one foot controlling the gas and brake. I know, I'm weird

I was in line with my uggs, (hey, if it's rainy in the summer, I'm not getting my flip flops wet) my jeans, and my hoodie with a t-shirt under it that says "Zombie Invasions Bite me Away" (hey I couldn't think of anything XD)

Someone tapped my on my shoulder as I turned around to see who it was.

"Mitch! long time no see"

" Hey baby gurl! how's my Skye doin'?" Ug. I hate when he calls me "Baby gurl." it's like we're dating. When, ya know, we're not.

"Mitch, I tell you this 10,000,000 times. Do not, under ANY circumstances, call me "baby gurl." you got that- BajanCanadian?"I made sure he understood.

"Yes mama." He replied. I slapped myself in the forehead.

"So, whatcha doing in L.A? I thought you lived in New York". Yes, I know what your thinking. YOU CRAZY WOMAN WHY WOULD YOU DRIVE FROM NEW YORK TO L.A.?!?! Well, like you said, it's because I'm crazy. ;) Ok, it's because minecon is here and I was invited to go by the person that has a checkered jacket and thinks he's katniss. (C'mon, if you don't know who that is, then your pulling my leg, like literally.)

"Mitch, you have a short memory spam. You invited me to minecon to share a booth with you, remember?"

I said. "Oooooohhhhh, yeah right" he said, dumbly. "dumbo." I muttered under my breath. "What?" he said. I slapped him in the back of the head.

"That's what" I replied.

We ordered our coffee and went to get a seat. As I was walking I bumped into a girl ( I'm just gonna make up random looks so PLZ don't hate I fan) with blonde hair and blue eyes. Her coffee spilled. "ohmehgosh I'm so sorry! are you ok?" the girl chuckled. "yeah, I'm fine." she said calmly and way more nicer than I expected. she looked up at me and stared at me with a shocked face. She then turned her head to Mitch. "OHMYGERDOHMYGERDOHMYGERDYOUAREMITCHANDSKYEFROMYOUTUBEOHMYGERD." I brushed my hair from my eyes. "Woah" I chuckled. "slow down."

"Hoo. okay. OHMYGERD- oh, sorry. hai! My name is Nik Winters" she said to the both of us we replied with a hi.

"Well I guess we don't need to introduce ourselves you know us already" Mitch said. "YUP!" she said excitedly. We laughed.

"Mitchell, please go get us and this lovely girl a seat please." I said in a fancy accent. " oh no, no, no, I would love to, but I gotta....um...go, somewhere." "oh um.." I stuttered. " ok. Mitchell, please go get me and you a seat please" I said, once again, in my British fancy accent. "yup. It was nice meeting you, Nik." They shook hands and said bye.

As we were in line to get Nik a new coffee she spoke to me. " I can't BELIVE I touched Mitch's hand." She said. I got her Skype and got her a coffee. "bye!" she said. "bye."

I went to sit down by Mitch. "How'd it go?" he asked. "I got her Skype. How does it sound it went?" he chuckled. he took a sip of his coffee as it made that sound when you get to the end of your drink. "your done already?!" I said, shocked. "hey you took a long time." He pouted. I laughed. "well ok." I said. he went in line to get a new coffee. "this time, ill get a large." he said proudly.
