Rey gasped as the blaster passed between them and broke her and Kylos focus on eachother. She quickly turned to look down the hall, seeing troops marching towards her. A ginger haired commander lead the way, a furious look on his face. “Get her now!”

Rey turned back to the locked door, quickly using a keycard from one of the killed guards to open the door. The door opened to a landing platform, a few ships on deck. She ran through, laser blasts surrounding her.

She turned the corner away from the door, racing towards the closest ship. At this point she was so desperate, she didn't care if anyone else was in the ship. She raced through the door when a blast hit her shoulder, causing her to let out a yell of pain.

She cast a look back to see the general smirking and holding up a blaster gun. She quickly shut the door on him, just catching sight of Kylo joining the scene. He skidded to a halt beside Hux, his eyes flashing around the room.

Rey quickly ran to the ships cockpit, her heart racing as she fought to get the ship started. It was a small supply ship, perhaps carrying some ammo of some sort. She didn't have the time to put much thought into it. A few more seconds of struggling, and she got the ship going. It wasn't long before the ship was off the ground and in space.

Kylo watched the ship leave, making him growl through his clenched teeth. “Prepair my ship! Now!” He ordered, watching the troopers quickly run away.

Hux looked over at Kylo in disgust. “So not only did we fail to capture the rebellion, but you managed to lose the girl too?” He asked, Kylo casting him a glare. “Shut your mouth before a break your jaw…” He warned, turning and making his way to his ship. He would track her down...

As he quickly walked to his ship, he was in a constant state of trying to bridge his mind with Rey. She was pretty much refusing him. She was ignoring him…

Hux words came back into his mind. He was correct… He was unable to keep this girl caged for more than a day. This is the third time she has ran away from him! Why can't he keep her in one place?! It was honestly tiring to have to chase after her again.

After a few moments he got the ship running and in the air. He shot into space, hopefully able to follow her as she sped away from him.

He was almost hurt by the fact she wouldn't just accept him. That she wouldn't just train by his side, rule by his side… and most importantly, love being by his side. Her presence was an amazing feeling, but perhaps it was one sided…

He caught sight of her ship, having been able to catch up in his own. Hers was a much slower ship then his, giving him great advantage. However, he didn't want to destroy the ship… That would lead to Reys death… He merely wanted to disable it.

He examined the outside, searching for the weakest points. He could catch a glimpse of Rey through the window as he circled around her. She wasn't happy in the slightest, but then to his luck, she was thinking of him enough to allow him to bridge his mind with hers.

“Rey,” He instantly called out to her, sensing her at his side. He flies the ship close to the side of Reys, trying to do nothing that could snap their connection. “Rey, where exactly do you think you are going?” He asked after a few more seconds of silence.

“Anywhere you are not. Once I lose you, perhaps I will head to back to the rebel base,” She answered, still angry with him. “But I'm always with you… No matter what we do, The force connects us together. So why not accept that?” He questioned, wanting to understand her reasons for running away from him.

“Because I don't accept you,” She straight up said, causing a unpredictable wave of hurt to flow through him. He hated the way it felt… Her words burying into his mind and reminding him he was unwanted. “But, I would accept Ben…” She suddenly added on. “If he isn't as gone as Leia thinks.”

That gave him a spark of hope, but it was small. Very small. He himself thought he killed the old version of himself. Years of training in the dark silenced any remorse in his head. Except for Rey and his mother… He still had remorse for them. Maybe he wasn't all dark yet. Not for her anyway…

“Maybe…” He whispers, unsure if it was even loud enough to be heard. He hated this so much… He was so weak! For a random girl he was going out of his way to treat her with kindness, no matter how many times she rejects him! He gets emotional whenever she's around and he knew she could tell! She knew how much of a weakness he was to her. “But Please…” He continued, pushing back the trembles running through him. “Come back to me now…” He finished, praying she would turn her damn ship around.

She could hear the emotion and longing in his voice, but she shook her head. “Not until you have come back to me,” She replied, Kylo clenching his jaw in anger. He was the one chasing her! He was beside her! “I'm the one fighting for us!” He ended up yelling, feeling broken by her words. What more could she want from him?!

“No! You know exactly what I want…” She complained, Kylo ren sighing in frustration. Ben… She wanted Ben… But how does he do that for her? It's been such a long time since he last showed kindness like she was asking for.

Suddenly, when his guard was completely down, her ship was gone in a flash of speed. She just activated lightspeed when he wasn't paying attention. A few seconds had gone by before he could even kick in his lightspeed. It was already too late to track her…

With a yell of frustration their bond snapped and he turned his ship around. The faster he got back to his base, the faster he could work on finding hers. She couldn't stay away forever. She was too determined to change him back…
