"All passengers please fasten your seat belts the plane is about to land... We welcome you all to New York " the voice of the Air hostess jolted Jaiye from her slumber ,unfastening her seat belt she dragged herself out of the plane
"New York here I come "she said with a huge smile on her face, making her way out of the Airport she scanned the sea of faces for her friend Joecelia, didn't take long to find her as she stood out amongst the sea of fancy outfits in a dress made with Ankara that Jaiye had sent to her for her birthday
"JayJay over here! "she shouted while jumping with excitement.. Jaiye shook her head Joecelia has always been hyper especially after a massive consumption of sweets "How many sweets have you had? "Well I lost count after the tenth wrap but it's not like it would show anyways "she replied with a smile
"Welcome to New York my Shugaboogaloo! So how did mum and dad react to your departure

Few hours Earlier

"No daughter of mine would become a tailor! " Mr Coker yelled "Baba Femi calm down all this shouting would increase your blood pressure "Mrs Coker tried to calm her husband "All my life you have made decisions for me I never wanted to read Accounting but I did it because that was what you wanted! Yet it wasn't enough for you! I'm going to New York whether you like it or not! I don't -" Jaiye's words were cut short as her mum slapped her across her face "Shut up! How dare you talk to your father like that? Is this how I raised you Ehn? O sé fe ya omokomo bayii (why do you want to become a bad child) We suffered to give you good education and this is how you repay us?! What has gotten into you!? " "Jaiye must you go to New York? "Femi her brother asked "can't you see what this decision of yours is doing to the family " " Is it bad to want something for myself?! I don't care what anyone says I'm going to New York and that's final! "Jaiye yelled "Then you're no daughter of mine! " Baba Femi don't make any rash decisions please my husband " "That's fine by me... Good bye dear family " and with those words she walked out of the house ignoring her mother's pleas to come back

Jaiye's Pov

"Earth to Jaiye" I snapped out of my reverie and smiled at Joecelia "Let's just say I don't have parents anymore " I quipped "you're joking right? "she asked. Oh Joe I wish I was "Let's just forget the past shall we? Now I want to go to this Starbucks you've been ranting about " "Oh my gosh they have the best coffee and there's this donut place called Haven and believe me the donuts taste like heaven! "she squealed "well shall we go milady "I said in a fake British accent "of course sire "she replied.. Laughing at our accents we stopped a taxi and while Joe was telling him where to go I focused on the scene in front of me while trying not to think of home. "I hope I made the right decision "I said out loud "uhn? " "Nothing Joe just talking to myself again " she grinned "To new beginnings! " "To new beginnings "

Alessio pov

I woke up with my head feeling as though it was rammed by a truck glancing around I saw a strange girl lying naked beside me
Last night
"Excuse me sir? " looking up from the files I was working on I saw my assistant Sam "yes Sam what can I do for you? " "I just wanted to know if you needed anything before I go home sir" "Oh not at all good night " "Good night sir" Hearing his footsteps fade away I picked up my phone and saw 8 missed calls from my friend Martin so I decided to call back "Yo man what's up "he immediately picked up "still trying to close the deal with Dreams Co... Where are you the noise there is awful " "Get your butt down to club" "Alright save me a chick though " "No problem man " I hung up and left the office then drove my Porsche down to the club
Getting to the club I spotted Martin with two girls in scanty outfits and too much makeup "Aah the easy ones " I smirked "hey man meet Jessica and Bianca ladies meet Alessio "he said giving my best smile I said "hello ladies " then I turned to the redhead girl "wanna dance? " sure " taking her to the dance floor we began to dirty dance ,grinding against each other damn! She sure can grind!
By the time we left the club I was as drunk as hell and couldn't remember the girl's name. Getting to my penthouse we quickly discarded our clothes and I pushed her roughly to the bed after making sure I had protection I slid into her core hard
End of flashback
"Morning baby " the redhead whose name I already forgot said in her shrill voice and combined with my headache made me extremely cranky "pack your stuff and get the fuck out of my apartment! " I yelled " but I thought you loved -" my laughter cut her short "loved who? You? Sorry to disappoint you but you're not my type! Now get out! "I snapped at her and she ran out of my apartment. Shit! I ran a hand through my thick jet black hair that was one of my outstanding features alongside my green eyes I stood up to go to the bathroom only to fall back on the bed. This is going to be a terrible day
