Alessio pov

I stood frozen for a few seconds till I realized that she was about to pull away but that ain't happening! I placed my hand on her waist and the other at the  nape of her neck as I deepened the kiss, slipping my tongue in her mouth our tongues fought for dominance, I moved my hand from her hips to grip her ass and she moaned into the kiss, removing my hand from her neck I began to unzip her dress, the need to have her so strong that I had forgotten about the fact that we were late for dinner. The sound of her phone ringing filled the air and she stepped away as though I  burned her "hey Joe! I'm so sorry I didn't call I miss you so much already... Yeah... Alright... Love you more "... Who the hell is this Joe?!  And she even has the guts to use the L-word in my presence! "Who the fuck is Joe?! " "excuse me?! " "oh don't play the innocent one here! You kissed me and not more than a minute later you are saying I love you to this Joe dude! " instead of the comeback or reply I wanted she burst out laughing what the -"I really don't have time for your childish tantrums Mr De Nostra and we have a dinner to attend, I'll be in the car" and she began to walk away

Jaiye pov

What the hell possessed me that I kissed him but damn the kiss was hot who would've thought Mr I have a stick up my ass could kiss like that my lips were still tingling from the kiss and then he was acting weird when Joe called almost as though he was jealous but then that's just crazy!  "Do you intend to go to dinner with your zipper down? " shit! I forgot about my zipper, I tried zipping it but the stupid zip won't even budge!  "Uhm, would you be kind enough to help me with my zipper? " "of course, who am I to refuse a beautiful woman? "He said smirking,  walking up to me in one fluid motion he stood behind  me and zipped my dress is it my imagination or his hand lingered for a while on my back before zipping up my dress... Arrrrrghhh what is wrong with me! I'm just over thinking this right but that kiss damn! I really need to -" I want you to have this "he gave me a small velvet box "I can't take this I do- " "open it first" when I did I gasped it was a beautiful ring with one huge diamond surrounded by smaller ones with a gold band"wow!, the ring is so beautiful but why should I have it? " did he just roll his eyes at me?  "We're supposed to be engaged remember? " "oh my bad! Did I miss the part where you decided to go on bended knee and propose to me? " "stop being so difficult and just wear it!  Damn woman! You are so annoying! " why do I feel this immense satisfaction seeing him all frustrated  "whatever you say dude" slipping the ring on it was a perfect size "did you just call me dude? " "yep" with that I walked towards the car.

Alessio pov

If this wasn't a business dinner I would've given both brothers a black eye and a broken jaw!  Why would they keep looking at my fiancee  like a piece of meat! Hmmmmm... My fiancee has a really nice ring to it " so Cara  what do you say you and I ditch this boring dinner" the younger Alfonso said, i  was about to reply when I heard her say "How about I give you a nose job?" I turned to her and I saw her smirking I felt a wave of pride hit me now that's my woman wait my woman?  when did this happen - "wow! Your  woman is fierce Mr De Nostra " I chuckled "I know right, thanks for dinner gentleman it was nice doing business with you but we must leave now my woman needs her beauty sleep " "it was a pleasure meeting you ma'am " "same here"she replied with a smile. We were leaving the restaurant when I felt her stiffen beside me glancing at her I noticed she was looking at the person in front of her with shock

Jaiye pov

Its been over a year since I saw him and here he was right in front of me with her   I felt alessio's gaze on me and I moved closer to him unconsciously exposing the ring "you're engaged?! "He sounded furious and mustering as much indifference as I could I said" and you're not dead, what a wonderful world we live in right?! " "tesoro mio (my darling)? " I felt his hand slip to my waist to hold me possessively against him and said "if you would excuse us we have somewhere else to be" I was so glad there would be no drama but then the universe is always against me "how much is he paying to be his whore uhn?! He yelled and without warning Alessio turned and punched him in the face "No one disrespects my woman! " and he led me out of the restaurant

"You didn't tell me she was engaged?! " "what do you mean engaged?!, she isn't engaged! " "of course she is!  I saw the ring on her finger and I had the pleasure of not only seeing her fiance I also got a black eye! " the voice on the other end was quiet for a while "what am I going to do?! " "stop whining! Do you want her or not? " "of course I do dad  !" "Then have some faith in your old man, she'll be yours" and the line went dead, "fuck! I would get you back Jaiyeola and that fiance  of yours would not be able to stop me! " He touched his black eye and winced that man would receive more than a black eye by the time he was done with him
