Chapter 7

Hi guys!....I'm sorry I haven't been updating my story...my life has been kinda crazy...so here goes...

Jaiye's POV

Have you ever looked at someone and wondered what the hell was I thinking?! That's exactly how I felt when I saw him again...

Flashback.....
Watching people grinding on the dance floor I was beginning to regret coming to the club in the first place but it was Jenna's birthday and she's my bff ,speaking of Jenna I tried looking out for her amidst the throng of people on the dance floor to no avail...well she wouldn't notice my absence anyways so I decided to call my boyfriend to pick me up( who's reason for not coming with was because he's busy with being busy)...and then I realized I've been here for over an hour and I haven't seen Jenna since I got here well I might as well ditch the club and get a cab because Ty isn't picking up surprisingly cause that's never happened before.... Leaving the club I stood by the road trying to check if my uber driver was on his way as the streets of Lagos aren't exactly safe to walk alone especially if you're a girl...suddenly I felt the coolness of steel press against my side and I froze in fear "e be like say you dey find customer abi?...how much be ya money?(looks like you're waiting for a customer yeah?... How much do you charge)... Fear became a python chocking me making it impossible for me to speak " I-I-I-I .. .I'm n-n-not a prostitute sir" I heard more footsteps and a voice said "OC you don catch fresh fish make we do am sharparly make opc no jam us here(OC you've caught a newbie let's do it quickly before opc/ security comes)" as though I just woke up from a dream at the realisation of what was about to happen I began to struggle with all my might but it was an unfair fight with two against my tiny self...I was pushed to the ground and the one called OC injected me with something and in a matter of seconds I felt numb...I could only helplessly watch as though I was an audience as they took turns having their way with me and taking something so precious that I hadn't even decided to give my boyfriend yet...when they were finished they walked away like nothing happened and at that point I felt that way... I felt nothing........
I stumbled into my boyfriend's apartment in the wee hours of the morning after lodging at a hotel to clear my head and decide whether or not to tell my boyfriend about what happened.... Using my key I opened the door just in time to see Jenna in my boyfriend's hoodie leaning over my boyfriend and planting kisses on his neck from the way she looked it was obvious they just had sex...I felt an invisible vice twist my heart hard...while I was being raped they were busy screwing each other.... It was as though they just realized I was standing there I took my time to observe their reactions while Jenna looked shocked he looked smug..."uhm jaiye it's not what it looks like-" she began to say and it made me laugh a sickening sound that wasn't really pleasant " don't worry Jenna ,you don't have to explain to me...you both deserve each other! " then I looked at the guy I thought was the centre of my universe how stupid...funny enough I was trying to help him get a contract from my dad and here he was fucking up literally... it was as though a switch had been flipped and my emotions had been turned off and I smiled and told him "good luck getting the contract baby" and I felt so much pleasure at seeing the smug look dissolve into fear deciding that I'd had enough of the drama I walked out of the apartment... Neither tried to contact me and I hadn't set my eyes on them since then....

Present

Well until last night...I was so mad at myself for showing any kind of reaction towards them but I was glad Alessio was there to deliver the punch...wait a minute ! Why am I thinking of that goat sef ...I need to call Joe..."Hey Joe, you wouldn't believe what happened! " " hello to you too... Oh I'm fine thanks for asking! " "stop being sarcastic Jor " "Okay,so what happened your royal lowness" she chuckled "I hope you know you sound weird,either ways I saw Him last night and he was there with her" "wait who's hi- oh! What are the odds that you guys would bump into each other here of all places?!" "That's a smart question that I unfortunately don't have an answer to!..that's not all tho he had the guts to confront me and I was with Alessio! Before you ask he had a business dinner with some guys like that but that's a totally different gist now back to the story, he insulted me and Alessio thankfully punched him!" "Oh my gosh! That is soooo bad ass! How many times did he punch him? Ten? Twenty? Or he gave a total face over?!" "What in the world is a face over?! And for someone who looks so innocent you're pretty violent ma'am" "I'm violent only for you babe oh and face over is like makeover but its for the face only... Yknow like facial reconstruction?" "Is face over even a thing and no he only punched him once but it looked like it would give him a black eye tho" "cool, your man just earned a thousand brownie points mehn" "First of all he's not my man and-" "oh shush!..for him to defend your honour like a Knight in shining armor-hey! that rhymes!... I might be an awesome poet or a rapper like Eminem but not that fast tho or I could-" "Stop rambling! Anyways I gotta go ,your Knight in shining armor's parents are coming over today" "hmmmm, so you say he's not your man uhn?" "I'm hanging up now you idiot! Bye!" "Yeah yeah bye scaredy cat...don't forget to look classy and be awesome!"... Speaking of classy I need to stop by the mall real quick.
Dashing out of my room, I rushed down the stairs only to freeze why you would ask...Alessio's parents were here! " Figilio,why is your maid staying upstairs and running about your house?"...

I guess I didn't do well with the suspense....Hi guys,I know this chapter wasn't really cool but I just wanted to shed more light on Jaiye's past and well introduce Jenna and Ty to you...they play a major role in the story too and not in the cliché way...so I hoped you kinda enjoyed it... ❤❤❤❤❤
