Chapter 14: Just A Dream

Jessie's POV:

I was in a room. No, scratch that, a ballroom. The walls a creamy white and a chandelier hanging on top. It was warm inside, almost comforting, and there was... Music playing? I'm dancing with someone. He was wearing all white, looking like an angel. His blond, almost gold hair looking like a halo. A firm grip on my waste making me feel safe.

I looked up but I couldn't see his face. Only a pair of ocean blue eyes looking into mine, "Drew?"

"You look so beautiful." He said.

I look down at myself, I was wearing a long sleeved, white dress. It touched the floor and had a flower pattern. It was tight from my waist up, and the loosened up at the bottom.

Looking back up at Drew, a wide grin had spread across his face. Yet I still couldn't see his face, only those piercing blue eyes and his grin.

"I'm never going to leave you, I'll always be there for you." He told me. I nodded my head and we continued dancing.

Then he vanished,

The music stopped,

The lights went out,

The room turned cold,

And I was left alone.

Everything was pitch black, "Drew?!" I yelled. "He's gone." another voice said. "What happened to him?"

A low chuckle filled the room. "He left you, for someone else. You see, he doesn't care for you. But I, I was always there for you and you pushed me away."

"What?" The lights turned on and in front of me stood Trevor. He was wearing all black, his hair spiked up. He had a huge scar running down his cheek.

The once creamy white walls were now black. The warm comforting feeling of the room vanished.

"I warned you Jessie, but you didn't listen. And now it's too late." He shook his head. "It's really a shame. If you would've listened, nobody would've gotten hurt."

"Hurt? Who's hurt?" I whispered. "You're hurt, for one." I looked down at myself.

The beautiful white dress was now covered in blood. It was rapidly gushing out of a wound on my stomach.

I placed my hands over it, trying to stop it from bleeding but it wouldn't stop. "No, no. Who else is hurt!?" I yelled, he smiled. "You'll find out soon."

"No! Tell me now! Who's hurt?!" I pounded on his chest, yelling, scratching his face, begging for him to tell me.

But he just laughed.

-

I woke up panting, looking around frantically. "It was just a dream." I whispered to myself. I felt around where the wound had been. Nothing.

I closed my eyes and cuddled into my pillow. Except it wasn't a pillow, it was fleshy and hard, like an arm.

I looked over to my side and saw a sleeping Drew. "Aww how cute." I said to no one in particular. He looked so peaceful asleep, like a little baby. I wish I had a camera with me.

Trying to stand up, I realized he had his arm around my waist. Every time I tried to get up he'd whimper and tighten his grip on me. "Ugh." I gave up and slumped down, I turned toward him and started tracing the features on his face. Then his tattoo on his chest that I hadn't noticed.

He started squirming around and then chuckling. "Stop it, that tickles." He said but his eyes were still closed. I giggled and right away his eyes snapped opened, revealing those beautiful blue eyes of his.

The same eyes that were in my dream. I shuttered and looked away. He frowned, "What's wrong?"

"Nothing." I mumbled as he pulled me into him. "Are you cold?" He asked. "A little."

He chuckled and continued pulling me closer to him. I took a long deep breath. The smell of him sending a wave of relief through my body.

"Did you have a bad dream?" He asked. "Yeah." "Do you want to talk about it?" "Maybe later, what time is it?" I asked, trying to change the topic.

He checked his watch, "It's two in the morning, we still have 3 hours of sleep." He smiled down at me.

I smiled at him and placed my head between his neck. Letting myself doze off into sleep once again.
