Chapter 2

I'd just pulled up in the drive and could already hear ' I bet that you look good on the dancefloor' being played on full blast. Jen didn't even give me chance to park properly she jumped out the car and ran in the house.

When I walked in I was greeted with a load of shouts, Matt was first to come over " Lana I've missed you so much" and embraced me into a massive hug. Up next was Jamie who came over and I we did our hand shake we have a special hand shake and then he pulled me in for a massive hug and said "can't wait to beat you on FIFA" " oh missed you too" I replied sarcastically followed by a wink. Then there was Nick who was already pretty drunk, it was quite funny" Lana" he shouted " it's good to see you" and gave me a high five and then a hug.

But lastly it was Alex, something seemed different about him... He walked over and looked me up and down, he's never done that before, it made me quite uneasy considering Jen was standing next to him "Land babe, it's good to see ya, missed ya heck of a lot" leaned it for a hug and gave me a kiss on the cheek.

No something wasn't right this time Alex has never acted like that, I mean we were close but not like that I would say he is the one I'm least closest to.

Anyway I had a few drinks and danced with all the lads...except Alex who was with Jen, the other three were so buys dancing they hadn't noticed I'd gone outside for some air.

I was standing there when I heard " you alright love, you'll catch a death of cold" his voice was heavenly and perfect of course it was Alex.

"Yes I'm fine thanks Alex" as I looked over to him and he was lighting up a cigarette

It had puzzled my why Alex was being so kind, so I asked him out right. " Alex we've always got on, mainly for Jens sake, but why are you being so kind to me?" There was a silence and he moved closer. I felt his hands go round my waist and pull me to him, he smelt so good, odd but good the smell of cigarettes and deodorant. I could feel us getting closer.

I was unsure what was going to happen and then he said " I dunno I've thought about you lately and how good you've been to Jen, but I haven't seen you both for nearly 2 months being on tour and all, I forgot what you looked like... And tonight Lana you looked perfect" my heart skipped a beat, I don't know what I felt, I mean I shouldn't he's with Jen. I looked up at him and his quiff had perfectly fallen out of place. I put my hand on his neck and what happened next shocked me. Our lips crashed together having a long kiss. I pulled apart knowing it was wrong. " Alex we can't you're with Jen"

He looked at me and his face dropped," look Lana I know I am but I couldn't help it you're perfect" he handed me a bit of paper with his number on. " text me later babe" he said and walked off, I didn't know how to feel? Happy, guilty, mesmerised. That didn't matter any way I went in and carried in with the rest of the night.
