Chapter 3

I woke up the next morning with a banging headache, I went to get up, but I couldn't I had a pair of arms wrapped around my waist. So I lied there trying not to wake the guy, when I finally got free I saw it was Matt, thank god it wasn't Alex, last nights incident was still playing back in my head.

I walked into the kitchen to get a drink, thinking I was the only one up. I poured myself some water and I heard " mornin love" in a too familiar Sheffield accent " morning Alex" I replied half heartedly not impressed that he cheated on my best friend...with me.

" oh someone's moody this morning" Alex replied trying to be funny

" piss of please" I responded I didn't want to look at him cause deep down I knew I enjoyed that kiss and I felt so much for Alex but I also knew it was wrong.

"Look babe, what's the deal? Last night you were perfectly fine to kiss me and now this morning it's like I don't exist" Alex said.

"Will you keep your voice down, someone else could be up you know and I didn't make the first move here buddy you kissed me" I snapped.

"I know Lana but you could of pulled away" he said trying to blame me.

" look Alex, I know your a leading man and think you can get any girl you like, but your with Jen and she can never find out about this, she's my best friend ok" Alex said nothing just looked at me, I felt very uneasy.

A few seconds later he pulled me towards him and our lips met again, he tasted of orange juice and apple chapstick, I tried to pull away but I was enjoying it, not lying. We kissed for what felt like hours and he pulled away. His hands still on my waist, "Lana I mean every word, you know what I said last night, it would be good too meet up so text me, I gave you me number last night remember love" he grinned. Of course I remembered I put it straight into my phone.

I wanted to say no but I couldn't what came out my mouth surprised me. "I'd love to meet up with you too Alex". It seemed like we were about to kiss again but then we heard Jamie walking in.

"Ahh Lara you could get us a couple of paracetamol my head is banging" Jamie proclaimed

"Sure thing buddy" I replied

*few hours later*

"Look Jen we need to get going I have work remember" I said to Jen

"Oh yeah sorry Hun lets go" she replied

We said our usual goodbyes gave all the boys a hug and a peck on a cheek... But when it came to Alex he gave a hug, he hugged my tighter than he ever has and whispered in my ear " I'll miss you, text me" I nodded and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

When I saw Jen give Alex I felt a wave of jealously hit me.. He could see that so he stopped the kiss.

Jen and I got in the car and I put my cd on. Typical that one for the road happened to be playing, all the way home my mind wasn't on anything else except Alex. I felt so bad sitting there knowing I had kissed Jens boyfriend. I dropped her back at her house.

But before she went " are you okay La?, you've been different this morning, you've hardly spoken to me" Jen looked at me worriedly.

"Nah I'm fine just a bit tired I guess, but yeah I'm fine, see ya tomorrow or something, text me yeah?" I said to Jen

" sure thing see ya" she said in a happy over exited voice.

And with that I drove home.
