Chapter Six

Jen came over to me crying and tear running down her face. " why Lana? You always had to be better than me in everything, and because I had a perfect boyfriend you had to take him too" "can't you ever be happy for me just this once". Tears were running down my face as I felt Alex hands on my shoulders and saw Matt, Jamie and Nick watch on.

"Look Jen I never knew this would happen, but you heard Alex, your not meant to be you can't mend broken things" it killed me to say that Jen is my best friend and I want her to be happy. " look Lana save it, it's me or him". Jen stated harshly. "What?" I replied confused.

" you heard me it's me or him, you walk out this place with Alex and you've lost your best friend or you stay and never see Alex again" Jen said half heartedly. "'You bitch how dare you make me choose" I could feel Alex holding be back. I looked at him, I looked deep into his dark enchanting brown eyes and I felt a warmness, something I'd never felt.

I looked at Jen what was she to me, I called her my best friend but over the years we've grown apart, but I've known her since we were 3".

" WELL" I heard Jen shout. I took Alex by the hand and started to walk towards the front door. I looked back at Jen and said "if you were my best friend you wouldn't make me choose like this...hope you find a new best friend and keep well" and with that Alex and I walked out the room hand in hand followed by the rest of the band.

I got outside by Al's car and I fell to the floor in tears, Alex's soft gentle hands soothing me while I sat there crying on his shoulder.
