Mark's POV
Currently I was on stage doing my panel and answering questions. Just as another question came up on the screen everything started shaking. The screen went black as all the lights flickered. "EARTHQUAKE!" Someone shouted. Then everybody was screaming and freaking out. Amy where's Amy! I scan the crowd and see Sean there, holding both Amy and Signe so they wouldn't be lost or fall over. I landed on my knees, the shaking throwing me off balance. I could see Sean, Amy, Signe, Ethan, Bob, Mandy, Wade, and Molly all hurrying up to the stage. All of the doors were automatic so they wouldn't open as the power went out. Crashes could be heard from everywhere. I saw Amy who was holding on to Sean crying, along with all my other friends. Amy let go of Sean and ran towards me. I stood up, catching her shaking form in my arms. The next earthquake was so big nearly everyone in the theater fell, including all of us. I landed on my back, Amy falling on top of me. All of us stayed down, knowing if we got up we'd only fall again. After a few more earthquakes it seemed to stop. There was still no power so all the doors were locked. Even if they were unlocked the rubble that had fallen was still blocking the way. Amy buried her head into my neck, shaking as she cried. I sat up putting her on my lap. I looked over to see Sean, Signe, and Ethan who had stood up and were all crying. People in the audience could be heard crying as well. Amy's hurt me the must. I kiss the top of her head, rocking her back and forth trying to calm her. Another large earthquake struck. Amy clung onto me like it was life or death. I pulled her as close as I could to me, tears brimming my eyes as I heard her screams. It died down and all that could be heard was the raging storm outside. I could hear heavy breathing and I turned my attention to the source finding myself looking at Sean. He began violently shaking as tears fell from his face. All of us rushed to him. "Sean!?" We all called. His knees gave out as he fell to the ground, Signe screaming by his side. Ethan began calming Amy as I kneeled down beside Sean. I carefully brought my ear down to his chest, glancing over at Signe as she held his hand. He was taking small and shallow breaths, but at least he was breathing. It's hard for me to tell if his eyes are open because the only light was coming from the tiny windows at the top of the theater, and the lights from some people in the audiences phones. A small cough caught my attention. I turned back to Sean to see him moving around a bit. "Sean baby!" Signe exclaimed as she carefully wrapped her arms around his neck before releasing again, wiping away more of his tears. As Sean started to shakily sit up I placed a gentle hand on his back to help push him upright. "Are you okay?" I asked, rubbing his back a bit. He still seemed a bit shaken up and was still crying a small bit. He slowly nodded. "W-what h-happened?" His voice shook as he spoke. "It looks like you may have had a small panic attack." I say. "Have you ever had one before?" I ask, noticing his still slightly panicked state. He shakes his head no. One of the Pax employees ran into the stage. "Everybody! I'm sorry to say until further notice we will be stuck in here." People groaned out and then he continued. "We have no service as of right not to contact any authorities and I don't know how long it will be until somebody comes to get us. We are unable to open the doors because of the automatic locks and the rubble laying on the other side. If we wait I'm sure it won't be too long until they get here. But for now sit tight and get comfy we will most likely spend the night in here." He then got off the stage and talked to the other employees while the room erupted in chatter. "Looks like we're sleeping here." Wade said sitting on the ground. We stayed silent for a few minutes, listening to the people in the crowd talking. After a while they quieted down and slowly began to go to sleep, or at least try. All of us on stage got settled. Using sweatshirts the Pax employees gave us as pillows to sleep on. Amy laid her head on my chest and slowly drifted off to sleep. Around 5:00am we all slowly woke up to the sound of the heavy doors being busted down. Through the debris we could see a team of firefighters and we began cheering, happy we could finally get out. Quickly all of the few hundred people in the room got out, us being last. All of us sighed out of happiness when we finally felt the sun and fresh air hit our skin. Thank god that was over.AN:
