Amy's POV
After nearly half an hour we reach my parents house, taking a deep breath before stepping out. Mark and I grab our bags from the trunk, walking towards the house. Setting my bags down on the porch, I turn to Mark. "How do I look?" I ask, he smiles big. "Beautiful baby girl." He responds, still smiling. I blush and turn towards the door, preparing myself before pressing the doorbell. Mark locks our hands together while we wait. A few moments later the door opens, revealing my mom. She gasps as she sees us, tightly hugging both of us. "OH AMY, MARK! WHAT A SWEET SURPRISE!" She shouts, opening the door and allowing us inside. "HEY MOM!" I respond with the same enthusiasm. Before anyone could say anything else, my dad appears. "Dad!" I shout, embracing him. "Amy!" He says back, hugging me tightly. "And Mark, how are you son?" My dad asks Mark. "I'm fine Mr. Nelson thank you, how about yourself." Mark says politely, a smile laying on his face as my dad hugs him. "Oh Mark please, call me Tim!" My dad says, releasing Mark. "How long will you be staying?" My mom asks. "One week." I answer, me and Mark's hands locking together once again. My parents smile. "Well, you two go get settled. I'm going to go start dinner!" My mom says, hurrying into the kitchen. My dad not far behind. I lead Mark up into my childhood room, our bags dragging behind us. Upon entering the room I lay down on my old bed, Mark sits down on the edge. I pull him down, now both of us are laying down. Mark pulls me into his chest, hugging me. I smile into his warmth, finding myself drifting off to sleep. Some time later I feel somebody lightly shaking me. I open my eyes to see my mother above me, shaking me. "Aren't you two just adorable!" My mom squeals, taking pictures with her phone. I bury my face further into Mark's chest, letting out a groan. "Sorry! I just came to tell you dinner is ready." My mom says, before walking out of my room and down the stairs." I turn to Mark, staring at his gorgeous sleeping face. I gently kiss him, soon feeling him kiss back. I pull away once I know he's awake. I sit up and throw the blanket off both of us, earning a groan from Mark. "C'mon, we gotta have dinner." I yawn, patting Mark's leg. I pull Mark up off the bed, practically dragging him downstairs. Arriving in the kitchen I'm met with a surprise, I drop Mark's hand and I run to hug my older brother. "Adam!" I scream, hugging my brother Adam. "Amy! So glad you're home!" Adam says, smiling. I release Adam, allowing him to give Mark a 'hello' hug. All of us sit around the table. My parents on one side, me and Mark on the other, and Adam at the head of the table. My mom comes into the dining room, a bottle of alcohol in her hand. She begins pouring me and Adam a very tiny bit. "Mark, would you like some?" My mom asks Mark, ready to pour him some. "No thank you Mrs. Nelson, I actually can't drink." Mark quickly declines, obviously not wanting to die. "Why?" My brother asks, curiously. "My body can't process alcohol." Mark responds, politely answering. "So what'd happen if you ever did?" My dad asks him, putting a forkful or food into his mouth. "I would have another heart attack and die." Mark says, taking a bite of his food. The rest of dinner we talk and joke, my family also asks Mark questions to try and get to know him better.
Time Skip to nighttime !!!!
Mark and I head to bed, tired after a long day of traveling. I lay on my bed with Mark, falling asleep in a matter of minutes. Upon waking up I realize I am alone, where'd Mark go? I slip out of the covers and stand up, my feet hitting the cold floor. I stretch, my feet padding against the floor as I travel towards the staircase. Hopping down each step, smiling as I land on the ground. Following the sound of a conversation, which leads me to end up in the kitchen. Standing there is Mark and my brother, chatting away with one another whilst sipping coffee. Yawning, I walk up to Mark. Wrapping my arms around him as I lean my head into his chest. Mark sets down his mug of coffee, allowing his arms to hold me. I feel Mark plant a kiss on the top of my head, I smile. The rest of the day we just sat around, catching up with my family. Playing board games, and of course charades. Eat dinner, then head to sleep. It was one of the best chill day I've had in a long time.
Day three!!!!
Movement on the bed next to me startled me awake. I open my eyes to see Mark, tossing and turning. His breathing heavy, is he having a nightmare? My question is answered when suddenly he bolts up in bed, screaming. Immediately I wrap my arms around him, trying to calm him. Within seconds my parents and older brother are both standing in the hallway. "What happened!" My dad whisper shouts. Tears stream down Mark's face as he stares at nothing, shaking as I hug him. "Nightmare." I say, rocking Mark back and forth slowly. "We'll talk about this in the morning, just calm him down." My mom says, slightly confused as she pushes everyone away from the door before shutting it. Finally Mark looks at me, still crying and breathing heavily. "A-A-Am-y." Mark stutters, his voice hoarse. "It's okay we'll talk about it later, just get some rest baby." I say, brushing his hair off his forehead which has stuck from sweat and press a kiss on his forehead. I lay us both down, wrapping my arms tightly around him. Allowing both of us to sleep. A few hours later I wake up again, Mark sleeping peacefully in my arms. I sneak past him, lightly kissing his forehead before walking downstairs. There's my parents and brother, eating breakfast. "So, what was that about?" My brother asks me. "I don't really know. Mark has nightmares all the time." I say, pouring myself some cereal. Then sitting down and begin to eat with my family, in silence. A few moments later, a sleepy Mark appears in the doorway. He sits next to me, my family begins prying at him. "What happened last night?" My dad asks. "Um...." Is all Mark says. I can tell he's getting a little overwhelmed. As he looks at me, as if asking me to save him. I grip his hand, standing him up and leading him into the living room. I sit us on the couch, going crisscrossed and turning to face him. I take his hands in mine. "What happened baby?" I ask. "Someone, who I guess was really mad at me for some reason. Came to your parents house, they kept screaming that 'I could've avoided this' in my face. Then they..........they............killed....all of you..and kept saying 'it's your fault, it's your fault'" Mark says, crying as he finishes. I pull him close to me, Mark quickly pulls himself together. "It's okay, that's not going to happen Markimoo. Why don't you go get dressed while I finish breakfast, my mom wants to take us somewhere. Okay?" Mark nods and starts walking towards the stairs. Not wanting to miss the opportunity, I lightly slap his ass. He jolts forwards acting hurt, rubbing his butt as he walks upstairs. After eating breakfast my mom takes us to the beach. (There aren't any beaches in Ohio are there? Oh well just go with it okay? 😉) All of us sit on the shore, Mark laying down on the beach blanket and my head on his warm chest. My parents and Adam head into the water, chatting as they go in about knee length. I sit up a bit and turn towards Mark. "Markimoo let's go in the water!" I say. "The ocean is scary. It's much safer up here on the beach." I sat up a bit and faced him, playfully pouting. Mark let out a sigh and began to get up, taking off his shirt leaving him in just his swim trunks. I stood as well and took off my shirt and shorts. Gripping Mark's hand I began running into the water. We got about knee high until Mark started resisting my pull. I looked back at him, my eyes practically begging him to go further into the water. With another sigh he allowed me to pull him deeper until the water was a little above Mark's waist. We stayed there and messed around for a bit, I started to notice the worry and fear on his face. Mark continued to glance around, making sure we were safe. I smiled softly and pulled him back through the water until it was at our knees again, not wanting him to be scared. Mark wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me close to kiss me, my arms finding there way around his neck. "I love you angel." Mark said smiling. "I love you too Markimoo." I said, pecking his lips one last time. A bit later we decide to get out the water and get some ice cream together. Mark and I put our clothes back on over our bathing suits and walk along the beach hand in hand, leaving the rest of my family in the water. After around 10 minutes of walking on the sidewalk we find a small ice cream parlor. We walk up to the cashier and prepare to order. "Two chocolate ice creams please." Mark tells the cashier, giving my hand a little squeeze at the end. We sit down at a small table in the corner of the building, waiting patiently for our ice cream. A young boy walks up to our table. "Woah! You're Markiplier!" The kid said excitedly. Mark gives a large smile, I smile seeing him so happy. "Why yes I am! What's your name?" He asks the child. "I'm Davis. I was wonder if you could sign something for me?" Davis asks. "Of course!" Mark answers cheerfully. Davis runs back to the table where his mother sat, reaching into her purse and pulling out a Tiny Box Tim plushie and a sharpie. Davis quickly runs back over to us and allows Mark to take the plushie from him. Setting it on the table Mark writes his Markiplier signature, finishing and handing it back to Davis. "Thank you Mark!" Davis says excitedly, giving Mark a hug. "You too Amy!" Davis tells me, giving me a small hug as well. "Of course!" Mark and I both tell him. With a quick goodbye Davis goes back to his table to finish his ice cream. Not long after our ice cream arrives and we eat it while chatting with each other. As the time goes on I grow tired and it begins getting dark out. A small yawn escapes me. "Someone getting tired?" Mark asks. I nod my head in response, laying my head on the table and closing my eyes. A few minutes later I feel Mark lift me out of my chair and into his warm arms. I snuggle into his arms, feeling myself drift off to sleep.
Mark's POV
I turned over to Amy to see her head on the table, her beautiful tired eyes shut closed. I finish the last of my ice cream and stand beside Amy. Carefully I lift Amy into my arms, feeling her snuggle closer to me. She's adorable. Walking out the door and down the sidewalk I begin to hum softly, noticing a smile dance its way onto Amy's kissable lips. It's about a 15 - 20 minutes walk home, so I fill the silent void with my singing.
"It makes your lips so kissable
And your kiss unmissable
Your fingertips so touchable
And your eyes irresistible." I sing softly. (Throwback song. Don't judge me.) Eventually I reach the front door to the house, softly knocking on the front door and waiting a few seconds. Amy's mom opens the door and smiles, standing aside to let us in. "Adorable!" Her mom whisper squeals as she sees us. Gently I climb the stairs, trying to avoid waking Amy up. I set her down carefully and place the overs over her. Places a gentle kiss on her forehead. A small knock causes me to turn towards the door, Amy's mom peeks her head in. "Hey we were gonna watch a movie and wanted to know if you'd join us?" She asks in a quiet whisper. "Sure I'd love to." I whisper back, following her down the stairs and into the living room. Amy's mom, brother, dad, and I watch movies all night.
Day four!!!!
Amy's POV
The light shining in through my window wakes me. I stretch and turn to my other side, expecting Mark to be laying their. The spot beside me was vacant. I feel around to see if the spot was warm, showing he had just gotten up, but instead the spot was cold. I check the time on my phone, 6:45, he shouldn't be awake this early? I step out of bed, taking slow steps out into the hall. Walking down the stairs I expect to hear talking, but it's silent. Getting slightly worried I walk around the house, going to the last room, the living room. I step in front of the couch to see a handsome Markiplier sleeping, drooling slightly. I lay down with him, filling the empty void once in front of him. Thankfully he stays asleep. I drift back to sleep, in the safe arms of Mark.
Mark's POV
I slowly wake up, giving a small yawn. I notice another presence, looking down to see Amy cuddling me. I smile, pulling her closer. Footsteps cause me and Amy to look towards the doorway to the living room. "Good you're awake!" Amy's mom says, sitting in a chair next to the couch. Both Amy and I sit up on the couch. "What's up mom?" Amy asks, laying her head on my shoulder. "Bad news. The office your father and I work at called this morning. We need to be in Florida tomorrow, meaning we have to fly down there tonight." Her mom says. "What about Adam?" Amy asks. "He's got some old friends down in Florida he'd like to visit, plus he wants to go to Disney World." She says with a chuckle. "Well, we could go to my moms a few days early I guess." I add in. They both smile. "I guess so." Says Amy. "Then it's settled! You've got until 2:30ish, that's when we have leave to get to the airport." Her mom says, standing and walking away. Amy and I look at the clock, 11:00, we both jump up and race to the room. Quickly I pack up my bags, helping Amy finish packing hers after. Pretty soon it's already 2:30. We all stand Bye the front door, saying our goodbyes. The four of them all pulled each other into a group hug. Then Amy reached out and grabbed the front of my shirt, pulling me into the hug as well. I look out the window to see that our Uber is here, tapping Amy on the shoulder to show her the same. She nods her head, giving her family one last goodbye before grabbing my hand and walking out to the Uber with me. I smile at Amy as we sit side by side, planting a gentle kiss on the side of her head. I can't wait to get to my moms house!AN
So this took a while huh? Really sorry things just kept getting in my way. I'm gonna to try with everything I've got to get the next one out as fast as I can though!!!!~Roo
