Chapter 2: Family Reunion and Return of the Monster

Rose's P.O.V.

"Pearl and Ruby..." I heard Sapphire say to herself. For once, thank you vampire super hearing!

"Pearl and Ruby? How are they?" I asked as I began to walk towards her.

"They were my cousins that lived 5 minutes away from me before we were changed by them. I've missed them so much!" She explains to me. I've heard their names before, but I can't put my finger on who they are.

Just then, the scent became stronger. But there were more vampire scents, and one was very familiar. Diamond and I got into fighting positions while Sapphire just stood there, looking at the way the scent was coming from. Soon enough, shadows appeared, then split into two. The shadows soon came into the clear. One girl was pretty, with strawberyy blonde/red hair, blue eyes, and pale skin. The other girl was shorter then the other girl, had curly hair, and chocolate brown eyes.

Sapphire looked at them with glistening eyes from tears and said," Pearl... Ruby." She ran towards them while they ran towards her. They hugged each other like there was no tomorrow. Diamond, Amethyst and I were just smiling at the three girls in their huge hug.

"Sapphire! You're alive!" Ruby said as she got rid of her tears.

"Yeah, I'm no- wait! I'm actually dead if you think of it cause my heart is not beating. But, why would think I was dead?" she asked them.

"The whole family didn't see in you in a month so they began to think you were dead. Everyone was depressed that the singing girl with hazel eyes was gone. Ruby and I were so upset we didn't talked to anyone for two months," Pearl explained.

"Well I was technically killed by my ex-boyfriend," Sapphire began.

"Logan? What did he do?" they asked.

"Well, we went to a fancy party at a friends, so we began to walk home late at night, when out of nowhere, Logan and his two friends, Jack Griifo and Ross Lynch, came and took our humanity away from us with no questions asked," she stated as she began to let tears fall down. All of us hugged her, when Ruby backed away.

"Did you say Ross Lynch?" Pearl asked with a terrified look on her round face.

"Yeah, why?" Sapphire said as she got out of our grasp.

"Because he is my mate," she stated as Sapphire looked like she has seen a ghost.

Sapphire's P.O.V.

Wait just a f***ing minute! The person who took away my best friends life, and now my little cousin's too, is now her mate?! This is a nightmare!!!

"He's your what?!" I said with venom in my voice.

"My mate, Sapphire," Ruby commented.

"This can't be happening... My little cousin's mate is the one who took my bestest friend's humanity away from her!" I said in rage as I paced back and forth.

One shadow yelled," I'm sorry,ok?!"

"Ross Lynch..." I muttered as he began to come out of the darkness with two other boys.. Ruby ran up to Ross while Pearl did the same to the other boy but one guy just stood there smiling at the two couples hugging. Diamond went behind me while Rose went beside me. I gave him an evil glare while he just stared at us with his eyes red.

"Hello Sapphire. Rose. Diamond..." he began.

"Hello Ross," I replied with venom in his name.

"What? After almost 11 years since we changed you and this is what I get?" he asked while backing away from Ruby.

"Yes because you took our lives away while you were just smiling like a champ! Does that answer your question?!" Diamond said while her fangs came out.

"Oh, Diamond. You have never changed since the last time I saw you," Ross began to walk towards us.

"Stay away from us you monster!" I yelled at him whil my eyes turned red and fangs came out.

"Girl chill out!" one boy said.

"He's just going to apologize ," the one who Pearl hugged stated.

"How do you know and who are you guys?!"

"I'm Misha Gabriel and this is Justin Bieber, Pearl's mate, and we are vampires," Misha explained.

"Oh ok and I think we know because we scenced you," I stated while I let my fangs go back and same with my eyes.

"So is everything cool?" Ross asked while putting his arm on my little cousin's waist.

"I don't know until I can trust you to be around us and my family," I stated while moving his arm with my power.

"We better get home, girls. We have school in the morning," Amethyst stated.

"We'll be there in a minute," I said.

"Whatever. We have to go girls. We also have school in the morning," Justin said as he walked back the way he came from.

"What school are you going to?" Misha asked.

"Sacred Heart High School," Diamond said

"Cool we go to that school! I guess we'll see you there. C'mon sweetie!" Justin stated.

"Hold on, babe," Pearl said to her boyfriend. She came over to me and gave me a bear hug. "I'll see you later, ok? Love you Sapphire."

"Love you too, Pearl. I'll see you two later," I stated as I walked towards my friends.

"Bye!" they said as they ran the oppisite way.

The girls and I ran back to the treehouse and went up the ladder. Soon we were inside, and we went into our bedrooms. I put on a black shirt and red short shorts and went to bed.

The weird thing was that before I fell asleep...

I saw piercing blue eyes staring at me...
