Chapter 1: Singing, Wolves and an Unfamiliar Scent

Sapphire's P.O.V

10 years...

It's been 10 years since my life was taken away, along with my friends, by my now ex-boyfriend and his friends. I haven't seen them ever since that horrible night. I'm glad of that. The last thing Logan said to me crept into my mind every single day. It really annoys me... but what are gonna do?

Anyways, in two days the girls and I will soon join a high school. To be honest, I'm actually nervous about going to school again. Although its been years since I've been around humans, I'm scared someone is going to get hurt because of me and my vampire side. What am I go-

"Sapphire!" Amethyst yelled at me.

"W-what?" I asked while I got interupted from my thoughts.

"We were just talking about going to school on monday. We asked you something and you were just painting your nails as if you were in your own world," Rose explains to me.

"Sorry I was just thinking about high school. What did you ask me?"

"We asked you if you are ready for monday?" Diamond ask me. (again)

"Yeah.. I'm ready and nervous."

"You don't need to be nervous, Sapph. We will be there for eachother.. no matter the price," the girls explained to me.

"Thanks guys. I'm going to my place to relax. Be back later," I said as i got up and went down the ladder.

"Just be careful!" Amethyst said to me.

"Yes, Mom!" I yelled at her. I heard her groan in frustration while I went down the ladder. Once i got down, I went down in vamp speed to my place: the clif at the side of the forest. I sat down and just closed my eyes, listening to the water crashing to the side of the clif. I come here when I'm stressed out about something or just to see the full moon at night when I can't sleep. I sat down and let my feet lay over the ledge. Then I began to sing.

"She lives in shadow of a lonely girl, voice so quiet you can't hear a word, always talking but she can't heard

You can see her there if you catch her eye, I know she's brave but it's trapped inside, scared to talk but she don't know why

I wish I knew back then what I know now, wish I could somehow, go back in time and maybe listen to my own advise

I'd tell her speak up, tell her to shout out, talk a bit louder, be a bit prouder, tell her she's beautiful, wonderful , everything she doesn't see

You got to speak up, you got to shout out, and know that right here right now you could beautiful wonderful anything you want to be...

Little Me.." I sang into the air. I wrote the song (Little Mix did not write the song in here) because what I sing is what I want to do. Go back in time and tell the younger me that she is beautiful no matter what. The girls keep telling me that I have a great voice, but I believe I sound like a dying cat. Soon enough I sat up and went for a walk in the woods. Animals were running around and birds were singing their own song. Out of now where, a white wolf jumps out of a bush and two brown wolves, one black and one blonde with brown spots follow. I look at them with wide eyes and hiss at them.

"We mean no harm, vampire. We were just strolling along," one of them said in a british accent while the sent their mind message.

"You mean you don't want to hurt me. I always thought werewolves and vampires were mortal enemies for centuries," I said to them.

"No ma'am, we wouldn't harm you. Werewolves and vampires were once mortal enemies, but now their are allies. If one side gets into a fight, the other side helps out," another said in an think irish accent.

"Oh ok. Well I better get going. Nice seeing you!" I said while going around them. The one who had a thick irish accent look pretty hot as a wolf. I wonder what it would like if it was in human form. He might be sexy if he-

Sapphire Gemma Knight! Stop thinking those dirty thoughts! One of them I sware I could hear him laugh. I looked at them while they ran the other way, while the blonde one looked at me with bright blue eyes. I smiled and turned away as I ran back to the treehouse. Once I got to the treehouse, I went up the ladder and went inside. I ran my hand through my hair, when I walked into the living room, the girls looked like they had something to tell me.

"What happened?" I asked them.

"There was an unfamiliar scent in the woods. It smelled like another vampire, but it wasn't alone," Rose explained to me.

"We were just going to check it out when you came in. Wanna come with us?" Amethyst asked me.

"Sure," I replied. We went to where they found the sent and walked around. When I came to one spot, the scent was a scent so familiar to me. It could only be two people I know who I love.

"Pearl and Ruby...," I whispered to myself.
