It's now gonna be in the select character's POV. Since They have been discovered, the traits aren't being watched, making the story first person instead of third. So yeah.
Deceit
I couldn't believe I was actually doing this. I was helping the murderer, apparently. But Patton didn't act like a murderer. It didn't piece together, and it was almost like saying I was an actual person."Patton, don't listen to me. I'm not helping you get out of here. I have found a way to get the bindings off, though. Don't hang on." Patton seemed so dead, his eyes bloodshot and bags under his eyes. "Why?" he asked.
"Why? Why wouldn't I be a dark side? Why would I not be neutral? I support what they have told me about you, which is why I'm not getting you out of here." He seemed to smile slightly at that, but then immediately frowned. "The others... they are in the tower. We can't leave them."
Needless to say I was confused. Before I snuck off the battlefield, Virgil and Roman were there. However, I assumed Logan was being his intellectual self on the sidelines. Hearing Patton's statement made me think again.
"Patton, I don't have to leave you. I'm not going to go help Logan get through to save you, alright?" Patton looked shocked, but then nodded for me to go. I smiled, turning towards the door, already unlocking the puzzle on it. It was a simple one, you just needed to be a 'dark side' to enter it. Lucky for me. I gave Patton a small smile as I turned out the door.
Virgil
I smiled as I poofed Laziness's cloud, making him fall flat on his face. The last dark side was knocked down. Both Apathy and Stupidity were panting, both exhausted from the battle. Roman and I wouldn't kill, though. No point, since it would only hurt Thomas. I put my scythe on my back and walked forwards. But something was off. "Roman...where is Deceit?"Roman gave me a shocked face. "How could we forget...?" He ran forwards, looking for any sign of the dark trait that we thought was down. I saw his horse in the distance, grazing on nothing. Running towards the horse, it slowly disappeared. Of course Deceit would make a fake horse to ride on. I called Roman over and he looked terrified. I just didn't understand. Where would he have gone? We had to keep searching for the snake.
Logan
As I smacked a spider away from my face it seemed like these stairs just kept on going. Wait. This must be Deceit. Sending me up a never ending staircase would be something deceitful. But how could I get out? Think Logan, think. But I can't. Patton might be dying and I'm stuck on a stupid puzzle that shouldn't have been solved a while ago. My only hope was that the other two were keeping the darks at bay. As soon as that thought entered my brain, I heard footsteps coming... down the stairs?I looked up. Deceit. I drew out my bow as Deceit gained a flustered look from it. "Logan, I here to hurt you. I haven't seen Patton. If you don't follow me I will help you. Please trust me, I am a Dark Side." Ah, he was telling obvious lies now. But he is a Dark Side?
" But, Deceit, are you not indeed a Dark Side? I mean, you do work against Thomas, and you are not a Light Side, so you have to be. Anyways, why would you help me of all people find the person you kidnapped?" Deceit gave me a worried look as he but his lip with his fangs. As Deceit sighed, he looked more at peace. Almost pure, light in a sense. He then told the truth.
"I am a Neutral Side, Logan."
So yeah that happened. I have made the Neutral Side area accommodate Deceit. I know some of you might be mad at that, but I do see Deceit as either good or bad. It will make more sense further in the story. Anyways, sorry this was kinda late, I'll try to get on a schedule soon, but I hope you all have wonderful days! Biya!
