I look at my dad blankly. "what?" i say with my head cocked over the side. He smirks at me. "You're a human with a gift, the mystery is, how you plan on using it?" he looks down at me. "When i was your age. i met a person who turned out to be like i am now. She gave me more power because i wanted to protect the people i care for. Son, thats a good reason, if your reason is for power, then i will not teach you how to contain and contol your power for good." I look at him. "I'm......i'm not sure yet." he takes my shoulder with his hands, saying words i didn't understand. my mind went black.
I sat up, the ground was hard underneath. Standing I take a look of the area around me. My mind was startled at the world around me.I didn't regonize the world, the sky was a weird orange, the ground was black and had no colour to it at all. "Dad.....where are we?" I got no answer, i look around me, my dad was no where to be seen. "UHhhhhhhh. DAD?" I hear a groan come from the bushes. " Over....here" i walk over to see him stuck in the bush, i laugh and help him out. his eyes looked tired and showed his age."Where, are we dad?" he looks at me and smiles pationtly. "My homeland." I look at him blankly." And that is....?" He laughs" the outlands son" That was when i got a look of him, he was wearing a red shirt, which were tucked into his pants. i frown.... then my eye twitchs. "What time of centurey is this?" He smirks "the 21st, just these guys dont need electricity... they have.' he hold up his hand a flame apears, the same as the ones that circled my own body. "Magic." i look at him dumbfounded. "HUH?"
