Toxic Lips ( On Hold )

Chapter 4

I was able to leave school early since I had yogurt all over my hair and clothes. My mom kept asking who did this to me but I just ignored her. I really didnt feel like explaining it to her. I was beginning to feel bad for yelling at Jack but he kind of deserved it. 

I had finally made it back to my house. I went straight up to my bathroom to take a shower. After doing this I threw on some sweatpants and a tee. 

I went over to my mirror and stared at my lips. They looked like normal lips, there was nothing really special. I always wonder why this had to happen to me. My mom doesnt have this problem and neither does my father. Me and my mom have been trying everything to get rid of this curse but nothing seems to work. 

There were countless times when I thought about making my lips touch people I didnt like, like Alex but I knew that was bad so I always got the thought out of my head. 

After staring at my lips I decided to go outside and enjoy some fresh air. I was in the middle of laying down on the grass when my mom called me inside. 

"Lily, theres a boy here to see you" she said shocked and confused. Shit! Please dont be Jack.

I got up from the grass and made my way back in. Of course Jack was there sitting on MY couch. 

"Hey Lilian" he said all happily. 

"Lily! And um hey" I responded trying not to sound annoyed. My mom was glaring at me the whole time and I knew I was going to get introuble. She felt bad for me but she just didnt want anyone getting hurt. 

"I just wanted to come here and apologize for annoying you and making you mad" he said and I could tell he meant it.

"Its fine Jack but I think you should go. Im really busy! See you around" I said while motioning him to the door.

"Oh, okay" he said while walking out. Once he was out of sight I ran into the kitchen where my mom was. 

"So, your seeing a boy?" she asked with no emotion at all. I couldnt tell if she was angry, dissapointed or sad. 

"No mom, I barley know him. He sat with me on the bus and I guess he thinks that we are best friends now. I dont know" I said. All she did was stare at me before leaving the kitchen and going up to her room. 

Great! I made my way back outside and layed on the grass. I saw a lizard run pass my shoe and I quickly caught it before it could get away. I havent tried anything since the chicken. I wanted to see if my lips were still toxic I guess and the next thing I know is im putting the lizard to my lips.

The lizard seemed normal at first before it slowly began to die. I felt so bad for it, so I took a rock and hit it. It died instantly and I felt so bad. I ran up to my room crying and jumped on my bed. Sleep took over me quickly.

"LILY GET UP! ALEX AND HER FAMILY ARE GOING TO BE HERE ANY SECOND NOW" my mom screamed. I quickly got out of bed and went straight to my closet. I didnt even bother taking a shower because I could only take long ones. When I took short ones, I felt like I wasnt clean enough. I pulled out a peach flowy dress that stopped mid-thigh, and got my nude heels to wear with it. I quickly changed into that and then went into the bathroom to brush my teeth and hair. After doing this I washed my face and did my hair.

Once I was finished I headed downstairs to get ready to welcome our guests. 

Shortly after, the doorbell rang and we all gathered around the door. Alex was the first to come in and it took all of me to not go over there and attack her. She gave me a fake smile and made her way to the dinning room. Next were their parents and they greeted me with a big hug and lots of happy birthdays.

Once everyone was done greeting everyone, we headed to the dinning room where we ate. Alex constantly kicked me from under the table and it was getting really annoying. Finally everyone was done eating and it was time for presents. I got some clothes and money and a pair of vans. I thanked everyone and then came the cake. We all ate that and eventually it was time for everyone to leave.

I said goodbye to everyone and then made my way up to the room. I took off my shoes and dress and hopped into the shower.

I sang this sond in the shower even though it was about love and I shouldnt really be singing it. I didnt really see what the big deal was anyway. I know I am not allowed to love anyone but that doesnt mean I cant sing about love.

After I was done, I got out and put on some sweatpants and a tee. I went on my phone and checked twitter. I saw a notification that caught my eye.

@jackgilinsky just followed you. There were also a ton more telling me that other people were following me. I didnt know any of them and I know had 578 followers. I was pretty shocked and I quickly got off my phone because It was going off constantly and it was getting annoying. I turned on my T.V. and began watching spongebob which was one of my favorite shows.

My mother came into my room one last time to say goodnight and soon after I was sound asleep.
