All three brothers were downstairs, chatting amongst themselves. The two females in the house were still sleeping, which allowed the boys to have their own freedom of speech between each other.

Klaus looked towards his younger brother, Kol, noticing how he wasn't concentrating on the two talking.

"What's on your mind, brother?" The original hybrid's voice had startled Kol from his thoughts, but chuckled softly and turned around.

"Just wondering why my dearest brother allowed his former blood-bag to be invited in, is all." Kol clearly stated, his signature smirk was plastered on his face and was not fading away anytime soon.

Klaus growled towards Kol, but before he could launch at his brother - Elijah took him by the arm.

"Niklaus, there is no need for violence. There is a human present in our home and we must make her feel safe. Welcomed." The noble vampire had spoke, which made Kol chuckle once again.

"Welcomed? She's staying with Vampires who tried to kill her. Which adds to my point. Say, Nik. Did you invite her to take her blood again?" Kol replied with his cocky attitude, which caused Klaus to no longer keep his patient.

"If you keep blabbing that tongue of yours, Kol, I'll rip it right from your mouth." The hybrid threatened towards his brother, making Kol raise his hands in defence.

"Looks like someone's having a bad day." A female British voice was heard from the kitchen. The brothers looked over to see Rebekah, being as flawless as she is, entering the room with narrowed eyes.

"If you keep arguing, you're going to awake the guest."

"Well that's what I said. But Nik, being his rude self, took no notice." Kol retorted. Elijah and Klaus both shot death glares in his direction.

"Anywho. Elijah, Nik. We have a little issue down at the Bayou." Rebekah spoke and both of the boys nodded.

Kol had once again felt left out and abandoned by his family.

"And me?" He stated, reminding his sister that he was apart of the family too.

"You can stay here and babysit. Let's go boys." The Barbie Klaus simply stated before taking the lead and walking out from the mansion, with both of the eldest brothers following close behind.

Kol growled in annoyance, only to hear a soft voice calling for him from behind.

"Kol? Is everything okay?"

The Male turned around and smiled when he had saw the awoken doppelgänger, standing there with a gown covering her fragile body.

"Ah. Everything's perfectly fine, darling. Come on in." He spoke confidently as the female allowed herself to sit beside him.

Elena knew he was lying - the lie would of stayed with him until he found the courage to tell the truth.

"Kol." She warned him, gesturing that she knew it was a lie. The Mikaelson brother sighed, shaking his head.

"It's nothing your pretty little head has to know." Kol assured her before looking over at the beautiful female. "How did you sleep, love?"

"Horrible." Elena mumbled, looking over at him. "Nightmares got the best of me, I guess."

The wily fox frowned at her comment, opening his arms for her to invite her for an embrace, and immediately she took the offering and embraced him.

"What sort of nightmares?" He asked as he began to stroke her hair while the two of them sat on the couch.

"Just. Ones that came up from the past." Elena avoided the question slightly, and Kol knew that. But with him being dominant, he wasn't taking no for an answer.

"That could mean anything. Can you elaborate?" The troublesome Mikaelson spoke up, turning his head to make eye contact with the female.

Elena inhaled and looked towards him.

"It doesn't matter, okay?"

"Elena, darling. It matters to me. What's going on in that pretty head of yours?"

The doppelganger felt herself having to give in. Who knew what would of happened if she didn't.

"What if Damon shows up? Trying to apologise. What the heck would you do?"

Kol Mikaelson smirked at her question, pondering on all the ways to be able to murder the Salvatore brother. All the Psychotic ways to end his petty little life for good - however was interrupted with Elena clearing out her throat. The Mikaelson brother chuckled.

"Easy. Murder him. Stake him. Whatever comes in mind when he grows the confidence to face an Original Vampire." He responded, again his ego was getting the best of him.

"You're an idiot." The petite female mumbled and the male laughed.

"I think the term you're looking for is 'psychotic', love. And yes, yes I am." Kol flattered himself as he chuckled and looked at the fireplace not too far away.

Elena rolled her eyes playfully and then looked to her feet, hearing the door open and two male voices.

"Kol.." The tone in her voice was shown to be fearful and worried, causing Kol to stand up and began to call out,

"Unless you're a Mikaelson, a Claire Witch or Marcellus.. Just prepare yourself for a quick and painful death."

Kol's long sharp fangs had extracted from the hidden areas of his mouth and his eyes darkened, revealing the veins from underneath and had unleashed his vampirism to be on view. Elena watched as his face switched from human to vampire, but she wasn't scared. She had seen it all before.

Before Elena could allow herself to speak, Kol had sped off somewhere in the mansion.

---------------------------------------------------

Kol Mikaelson pinned the figure down by his neck against the wall, his fangs were shown so much that it gave chills for you to be dead by a simple pierce of the skin. The Mikaelson hissed as he gripped tighter on the neck. "You shouldn't of came. You're messing with the homicidal Maniac of the family!" Kol shouted, causing the figure to chuckle.

"Oh, I know who you are. I'm only here for a reason. You have my doppelganger, you vile creature."

Kol growled as he threw the figure from the wall onto the floor. The jealousy roaring in Kol was coming out - the monster everybody feared was coming out. Jealousy was the thing Kol hated the most. He hated sharing. Why? Because that would leave him to misery and abandonment

"Who are you!?" The mansion was dark, and the figure was dark. There was a point of this figure to be blending in for what plan he had up his sleeve. "Don't make me repeat myself,. Show yourself, bastard!"

The light flickered on to lighten up the mansion. Elena, unable to stay quiet any longer also ran over to see who it was and immediately she gasped. Kol growled in annoyance as he held Elena beside him for extra protection.

The figure chuckled as Elena spoke, "It can't be.." She whispered, shocked.

"Damon."
