"Damon.."The name escaped the female's lips like it was poison being spat out. The dark-haired Salvatore smirked towards Elena before glaring at Kol.
"Let go of her." Damon sneered, obviously not understanding the situation. Kol chuckled softly.
"You know, mate. I'm sure Elena is pretty capable of making her own decision. After all, you didn't save her." He remarked with a mischievous grin on his face. The same grin where you knew he was up to something. The same grin where you would have to be careful about what you were saying.
Damon rolled his eyes as he looked towards the doppelganger. "Elena, let's go." He said, outstretching his hand and offering it towards her. Elena, hesitating, looked towards Kol and he returned the look back at her. The brunette inhaled as she took his hand, then dragged him towards the door and pushed him out.
"I'm not going anywhere with you, you cheater!" Elena hissed towards him, grabbing a hold of the door handle and was about to shut the door, however Damon pushed it back open.
"Ouch. When did you get all feisty, darling?" Kol was clearly impressed with how she managed to deal with a vampire - due to her humanly life, he had expected /SOME/ humans to have been weak when it came to vampires. But Elena? She was different. She stood out from the crowd and in her own, unique way - she still managed to impress him.
"Let's just say it's a little thing called 'The Petrova Fire.'" Elena rolled her eyes at the comment and glared at Damon as the words practically rolled off her tongue. "You know exactly what I mean."
Damon, now only just realizing, softly inhaled and tried to walk back in, only to be stopped by the brunette. "Elena. You're angry with me-"
"Oh I'm more then angry. You had the guts to look me right in the eyes and tell me that I was nothing to you. That I was.. a replacement. That I was just covering the spot so when Katherine had loved you once more, you'd leave me for her. Of course I shouldn't of trusted you. You still love her, don't you? No wonder why you were barely naked with that psychotic bitch!"
Elena had shown no mercy as she spoke, her eyes narrowing daggers towards him. Oh, if only she had vampire eyes - she would of made the situation much more serious.
"Elena." Damon said her name with a snarl, looking at her and taking her hands. "You don't understand."
The brunette restrained her hands from him and shook her head. "No. You don't understand."
"What don't I understand? That you're jealous?!"
"Jealous? That's what you think I am?!" Elena spat, looking towards Kol who had just walked over and outside of the manor.
"Mate, can't you tell she's hurt? You cheated on the girl. You hurt her with her own doppelgänger. Then you show up here and try to challenge an original? Kind of brave, aye?" The wily fox smirked towards the Salvatore brother, who's vampirism side was revealing itself slowly.
Damon growled as he launched forward, grabbing a hold of Kol's shoulder and using his strength, he had swung him into the nearby wall. Elena backed up, gasping for air at the sudden attack he had done.
"Damon! What the heck?!" Elena shouted, but Damon ignored the girl.
Kol Mikaelson snapped Damon's neck within a flash and then vamped towards Elena, wrapping his arms around her protectively and looking down at the petite girl.
"Are you alright, darling?" He cooled towards her, stroking her hair to try and soothe her.
Kol had listened to her heartbeat. How fast it was beating. He breathed deeply to control himself, after all he was still unable to control himself with the thirst.
