Sayori laid awake that lonesome night, her messy hair laid on her pillow, her mind refused to stop racing and let her sleep. She turned in her bed, facing towards her desk, looking at the book Yuri gave her, she sat up, her icy eyes fixated upon the cover, rereading the title in her head.

She swung her feet over the side of the bed, she felt the touch of her cold floor against her bare feet as she then stood, she turned on her lamp at her stand side, sitting down in her chair, the plush seat met with a hard back support, woken her more then she was, her finger tips brushing the hard cover, she pulled it open and began to read it.

Morning came quickly, the sun greeted her awake, the tickle of the blinding light resting on her cheek, the warm touch of chatter outside indicating that morning came and another day of school followed. Sayori sat up, she fell asleep at her desk, the book acted as a pillow to the act of the nap, she stood up with a heavy yawn following, making her way to the showers.

Sayori thought to herself as she looked in the room, she sighed, grumbling as she started a shower. She didn't bother giving a glance in the mirror once, she began to strip from her clothes, dropping them to the floor. She held a hand under the stream of pelting cool water from the nozzle of the shower head, 'Eh. Whatever.' She shrugged as she thought to herself stepping in, the cooling touch jolted her mind awake, her messy hair that just care freely jutted in all directions quickly sunk down, strands of her hair stuck to the sides of her cheeks as she just began to lather the messy locks on top of her head. She didn't say a word, didn't hum, didn't smile. Just washed up, stepped out, dried off, brushed her teeth and got dressed in her uniform, slipping on a clean pair of undergarments for the day, to sliding her button up on, securing the shirt shut in the cream austere buttons. Pulling up her skirt as she tucked in her shirt for the dress code, she rummaged through her sock drawer and sighed.

She hurried down the stairs, her hair dried but not brushed. She went into the cabinets and pulled a granola bar out, opening it and stuffed it in her mouth with a heavy sigh of relief at the oat taste bursting in her mouth with the compliments of the caramel holding the crisp oats together and made her way outside, the memories of Yuri's smile played in her mind, a heavy blush stormed across her cheeks as she walked to school, she spotted Sora and smiled. "Kyaaa!!" She said as she raced up to him, Sora turned to her, unamused, "Sayori, Good morning" he said kindly as Sayori huffed, her chest heaving to catch her breath and looked up to him "Thank you for coming to the club again.. it means a lot to me" Sora's plain face shifted into a smile as he patted her head "It was my pleasure. Thank you for inviting me, now let's get to school shall we?" Sora giggled as Sayori nodded happily, for once.. Sayori felt.. genuine happiness, though the clouds were still there, she continued smiling with no mask over her face.

Sayori sat in her class, the sun beamed lightly, clouds floating innocently across the blue sheet. Yuri shared the same ELA class as her, the teachers constant rambling bored her until the key words pulled her out of her daydream "Now there will be a keynote project due next week on the novel we spent reading this month. Group of 3 and the minimum slide number will be 20. I will be partnering you up, no groaning or I will shorten the date." Names were called, she blocked them out but listened for her name as well as Yuri's, she prayed she would be paired up with her due to her lack of knowledge to the others in the class.

"Yuri. You will be in a group with Sayori and Crispin." Sayori beamed at the news she listened to, Yuri looked up with relief from her seat as Crispin, the third in the group looked back at the two girls, "Use this time to begin the project."

Yuri, Sayori, And Crispin sat at their table. Crispin was a brunette with hazel eyes, he wore glasses that well didn't frame facial structure, he pulled out his school's laptop, setting it on the desk and turned it on. The two girls did the same, Sayori couldn't help but steal glances at the girl next to her, her Prussian eyes as well as her cute face illuminated by the power on screen.

'Why are you so cute..' Sayori thought to herself as her heart raced madly to continue looking but quickly stopped and powered on her computer when Yuri looked up.
