I grinned to myself as I pocketed the newly acquired item. I was hoping that Kyoya would like it. I walked over to the bench I directed him to and he stood up when he seen me coming.
"Long line?" He asked, handing me my coffee. "Extremely. I was starting to wonder if people were moving in," I said. A little white lie never hurt anyone. Besides, he was getting a gift after all. He half heartedly rolled his eyes and began walking towards the shops that we haven't been to. "So once we finish up these shops we'll meet up with the others?" I asked as I caught up with him. He gave me a nod, "I messaged Tamaki while you were gone. He said that we could meet up at a café that he found. It's not too far from here." "Ooh, food sounds good. I can't wait!" I smiled and bumped his arm with mine lightly. He raised an eyebrow and then shook his head, muttering something.
I pouted and the looked around, "so how long do you think it will take for Tamaki and Haruhi to hit things off?" He snorted, "knowing Tamaki, it might take a little while to get the idea in his thick skull." I covered my mouth to keep from laughing too loud, "he does seem to be having trouble." Kyoya rolled his eyes, "that's putting it mildly. Hint at it all you want, but the idea will just bounce off his head." I grinned, "you have to love him though. No matter how dense." He nodded, "unfortunately." I smacked his shoulder lightly, "be nice!" He shot me a sly grin and turned to look forward again.
I shook my head and laughed. As much as the hosts acted like a family, some of us looked at another with a little more than family love. It was just a matter of time after all.
I suddenly remembered something. I turned to Kyoya again, "say, where are we getting married at? Considering the fact that we can't legally get married here in Japan." He looked at me, "now that you say it, I don't really know. I haven't put much thought into it. Any place you have in mind?" I thought about it silently for a few seconds, "the only places I can think of that does these types of marriages are the states and Canada." He hummed, "looks like we have another research plan that we have to do." I laughed, "fun."
I stretched like a cat and then took a sip of my chocolate coffee. I couldn't wait to get back home. I could take a nap and I could also figure out when to give Kyoya his present. That was something I needed to do. I had to present it at the perfect time.
"Ready to head over to that café?" Kyoya asked as soon as we finished looking around the last shop. I gave him a nod and we began our trek. We had small talks here and there, chit chats that filled the empty space as we walked.
The café came into view after a little bit of walking. I noticed the rest of our group smiling and glancing over, looking in Kyoya's and my general area. I gave Kyoya a small nudge and grinned as he looked at me, "I wonder what they're talking about. They keep looking this way." Kyoya glanced at the other hosts and then back at me, "probably trying to figure out who's going to be the uncle."
I had be taking a sip of the small amount of coffee I had left and upon hearing that I sputtered and tried not to spit out my coffee. I swallowed the liquid and jerked my head to look at the Ootori boy. I felt the heat rise in my cheeks, "uncle?!" He coughed to try and cover his laugh, but he failed because I heard him sniggering behind his hand. Uncle? What type of uncle? Kyoya please explain!
I sat down next to Haruhi and Kyoya took the seat next to mine. Haruhi leaned over and whispered, "You two seemed to be having fun." I looked at her, at the table, and then back at her. I opened my mouth, but I just couldn't find the words. That boy made me speechless sometimes. She laughed and shook her head.
I sighed and turned my attention back to everyone else. They were talking about the many things they seen. Apparently the group split up after Kyoya and myself had left. Honey and Mori found a lot of clothes and cosplay shops. The twins found many restaurant chains. Tamaki and Haruhi found a lot of decor shops. There were quite a few different shops to go to.
After a little while, Kyoya leaned over to Tamaki and whispered something in his ear. Tamaki grinned and declared the they were going to be right back. The two stood and the disappeared into the crowd.
"Huh, I wonder what that was about," I mused out loud. The twins shrugged, "who knows." "So what were you and Kyo-chan talking about before you sat down?" Honey asked as he took a sip of his drink. "Yeah, I've been wondering about that myself," Haruhi said giving me a knowing look.
"Absolutely nothing," I stated as I crossed my arms. They were hanging up on me since Kyoya wasn't here! How cruel! "Awwe come on! We're sure it wasn't nothing-" thing one started. "Especially since you were blushing," thing two finished. The two of them cheekily grinned as my face heated up again. "Nope. Nothing. Absolutely positively nothing," I declared.
The group grinned, even Mori grinned! Though not as creepily as the twins did. "You lot are like a bunch of gossiping girls," I whined and rubbed my face. "We're just curious," Haruhi said. "We talked about some things and that was it. Nothing that needs to be discussed at this very moment," I stated matter of factly. The Hitachiin twins glanced at each other and then back at me. Wait.
"So we can discuss this later then?" They grinned. "I'm gonna complain to your mother about your constant questioning," I pouted. "She'll just ask you questions as well." The group nodded in agreement and I sweated.
"Hey look! Tama-chan and Kyo-chan are back!" Honey cheered and I mentally thanked the two. Tamaki waltzed over and sat back down in the seat he was sitting in earlier. My eyebrows knitted in confusion, "why are you so happy?" He smiled innocently, "I have no idea what you're talking about~" I gave him a disbelieving look, "uh huh. Sure."
I felt someone standing behind me. I tilted my head back and seen my husband to be. He gave me an amused look before putting a box infront of me. I gave him a suspicious look before I turned my attention to the box. Allowing curiosity to over take me, I pulled the box closer and opened it.
It was as if the air was knock out of my lungs.
