Tsurugi's POV

I was just closing the door of my house until I saw a familiar girl running past me. (Y:n)?
I was late for school but I didn't know that she was too. I followed her since it was my route too but she was running and panting and then she tripped.

"Ahh!!" She squealed."Nng...hm?"

My body moved on its own.

"Don't just run or you'll definitely fall idiot."

Well that was an awkward position we were in....

It was kinda like I was hugging her or something. I felt my cheeks burning a little.

"Hm?" She raised her face to look at me which was stuffed into my chest. It felt good actually...WAIT! What am I saying!?

"T-Tsurugi!" She had that surprised look on her face and she was blushing madly. Well I can't blame her for that,we were inches apart.

"Th-Thank you v-very much.." she said.

"For how long are you intending to stay like this?" I asked with a smirk.

Realizing she was still in my embrace she pulled away quickly and looked away.

Heh...cute.

"I-I'm sorry Tsurugi,I didn't mean too."

"C'mon we're late."

As soon as I reminded her she started running again past me but I pulled her by her scarf gently and made her walk beside my level.

"If you're willing to trip and fall again then I won't stop ya but don't expect me to come to your rescue." I said still smirking.

"Uh....o-ok." She replied and kept walking beside me.

Come to think of it....I'm taller than her,which makes her head goes till the beginning of my neck.

Heh...WAIT WHY AM I HAPPY TO WALK WITH HER??!!

I glanced at her. She was still blushing but she was looking up ahead.

"Hey Tsurugi."

"Y-Yeah?"

"Thanks a lot." She said then smiled

Her smile is so bright and warm.I've never seen a smile that is so cute on a girl before.

"Yeah...don't mention it." I said.

Then I thought when I first saw her this morning. When she was running past my house. Does she live near by?

"Hey (y:n)?"

"Hm?"

" Do you live in this street?"

"Yeah...in fact,my house is right next to yours."

"Huh?!! And how did you know that I live there?"

"I saw you entering that house yesterday."

"Oh...so we're neighbors?"

"Yeah!" The same smile. How lovely for her to smile. Wait what?! ARGHHHHH!!!! DAMN THESE STRANGE THOUGHTS!

Apparently I have been making some noises while thinking.

"What thoughts??" She asked innocently.

"Uh..nothing...don't mind me."

"Alright."

"Do you always walk alone to school and back from it?" I asked starting a conversation at least.

"Well yeah I don't have anyone to walk with." She said bluntly.

"Well you've got one now."

"Huh? You mean-"

"I'll walk with you. Since we are neighbors and all." I said as I turned my face the other way.

"Really? That's so sweet,thanks Tsurugi."

Sweet huh...I've never been called sweet before.
I think I've found my first female friend....must be nice.
