Your POV:

Second period was over and now I was headed to the soccer field for morning practice.

"(Y:N)! C'mon practice is starting!!" Aoi yelled and waved her hand.

"COMING!"

When I arrived I didn't see Tsurugi anywhere.

Hmm...strange.

"Hey...uh....is Tsurugi absent?" I asked.

"No he wasn't feeling well so he went to the infirmary."

"Oh I see..."

All the managers looked at each other then they looked at me with a sly grin on their faces.

"Nani?(what?)"

"Ohh (Y:N)~.........Did you know that Tsurugi is super handsome~?" Midori asked with a smirk.

"Uh...yeah m-maybe..."I stuttered.

"And did you know that he is single~?"

At Tsurugi:

ACHOO!

*sneeze*

Back to you:

"Why would you want me to know something like that?" I asked a bit worried.

"Oh no particular reason but you should go check on him after practice ok?" She said.

"But why m-"

"YOURE GOING AND THATS FINAL!" They all yelled at the same time.

After practice I went to the infirmary as I was told and quietly opened the door.

I went in and found Tsurugi sleeping soundly on the last bed. He was the only one here.

I kept staring at his face for some reason. His face was a bit red so I thought he might have a fever.

I came closer to put my hand on his forehead to check the temperature.

"Oh no you're burning..." I whispered.

"Poor Tsurugi."

Then I felt a hand on my hand that was on his forehead. It was Tsurugi's hand.

He slowly opened his eyes.

"Nng....uh....(Y:N)?"

I was blushing madly now,"I..uh...I was told to come and check on you..." I said.

"Oh..." he said as he was trying to sit down on his bed but failed.

I pushed him gently on the bed again.

"No Tsurugi you should rest you have a high fever!" I said to him with a concerned look on my face.

I brought some wet towels.He closed his eyes so I removed his bangs and then I put the towel to cool down the fever.

He was breathing heavily. I felt bad for him.

*ding dong*

That was the bell of ending the school day. Oh no I should probably wake up Tsurugi....but he is so tired I don't think he can even walk alone.

"Um....T-Tsurugi?"

No response

"Tsurugi..." I shake him a bit. He opened his eyes slowly.

"What is it?" He asked weakly.

"The bell rang so we should go."

"Oh right..."

As he was trying to stand he collapsed and fell on me.

I tried to hold him but he was heavy.

We were on the floor and then he started to get off of me slowly.

"I'm sorry (y:n) I didn't mean to..."

"Uhh....n-no problem I know you didn't mean to..."

He stood but started to wobble like jelly while walking a few steps. I couldn't stand there without doing something!

"Hey Tsurugi hold on to me." I said to him seriously.

I took his arm and put it around my neck so that he can walk with my help.

"Yeah....thanks (y:n)....*cough*"

"You should really rest Tsurugi and don't over do it ok?"

"Yeah...*cough*"

We were walking in the same street where our houses are near by.

We were silent the whole way except for Tsurugi's coughing. He was sweating. He isn't looking very well at all.

As we reached his house I rang the bell but no one answered.

"Um..Tsurugi...!"

He was asleep! ......on my shoulder. He looked a bit calmer and comfortable. Then I realized the keys in his pocket so I took them and opened the door.

"Pardon my intrusion..." i whispered.

I brought him up stairs and looked at each room till I found one that looks like it could be Tsurugi's room.

I placed him on his bed and put some wet towels on his forehead again.

Then I kept wondering....does Tsurugi live all by himself ??

I thought after a while that he didn't eat anything since lunch break. So I went downstairs and looked around but luckily there wasn't anybody.

I started to cook some rice porridge that is good for colds and fevers.

I put it in a pot with a spoon on a tray and went to Tsurugi's room. He was still asleep. I put it on his table near him and  I wrote a note saying :

Hey Tsurugi,
I made you some rice porridge...they say it's good for colds and fevers. So plz eat it and don't over do it ok? I may not cook very well but at least it will ease your pain. I'll come check on you tomorrow after school.
(Y:N).

Tsurugi's POV:

I opened my eyes to see that I'm in my room.
Huh? But how?? Oh right! (Y:N) brought me here.

Hm?

I saw a note beside it a tray with a pot.
I opened the note and read it.

Then I opened the pot and found some delicious looking rice porridge.

Heh...she made this for me....

I ate it  and went back to sleep

"And she said that she isn't a very good cook?
Please! Hehehe that porridge was excellent!"
