"Common Jungkookie, please it's just one date, I don't want anything more," Jimin begged his crush of 4 years.

The latter just rolled his eyes and continued walking to his next class acting like Jimin was not even there. Jimin just decided to walk after him, Jimin wasn't one to give up not even after Jungkook had rejected him for more than a year now.

"It's just a date," Jimin continued "I swear it will be fun, we can go out for movies and then grab something to eat. Here I even have some tickets for the new Iron Man movie." Jimin pulled the tickets out of his pocket showing them to the taller boy.

Jungkook let an annoyed huff out, "Okay listen, Park, I said it nicely for a thousand times now, I'm not interested in you. You could give me 1000000 won and I still wouldn't go out with you."

Jimin gasped, tears starting to fill his eyes, maybe he was naïve but he really had thought that Jungkook was just playing hard to get. He had been stupid, with tears streaming down his face, he ran away from Jungkook's angry gaze to the nearest toilet.

Everyone who had heard what Jungkook said and now saw a crying Jimin running away, looked at him with pity in their eyes, everybody knew about the endless adoration Jimin had for Jungkook.

Many had supported Jimin and had really wished that Jungkook would give the poor boy a chance after they saw how Jimin tried so hard all the time. Jimin really deserved a better treatment.

When Jimin arrived in the toilet he was glad that he was the only one inside, so that he was able to let out the sobs he had tried so hard to hold in. Jimin wasn't angry at Jungkook, he was just angry at himself, he shouldn't have gone on the taller's nerves so much. Now Jungkook probably hated Jimin for being so annoying.

Jungkook was a sweet person and it takes a while to make him angry but Jimin seemed to have succeeded at that. After all these years of hoping and dreaming, Jimin now knew that it all was for nothing, there was no sweet and perfect future with Jungkook in store for him.

Jimin had fallen in love with Jungkook in 8th grade, Jungkook came to Jimin's class after he had moved from Busan to Seoul, Jungkook was even smart enough to skip 7th grade, that was why he was in Jimin's class even though he was younger.

The teacher had assigned Jimin to show Jungkook around the school and help him, they clicked easily, having a lot of similarities like coming from the same city and having similar interests.

They became best friends and Jimin started to fall in love with Jungkook, in Jimin's eyes Jungkook was perfect. Jimin started to become more touchy and talked openly about his feelings towards Jungkook.

Jimin never wanted to scare the younger away, he just always had been a touchy person especially with people he loved. At first, Jimin hadn't realized but Jungkook started to become distant with him, he started having lunch with other boys and girls from their class and didn't want to walk home together with Jimin anymore.

Of course, it had hurt Jimin but he respected the younger's decision, he started to keep his distance from him as well. Jimin had hoped that Jungkook would start to miss him and they would eventually become friends again.

But Jungkook didn't even exchange one word with Jimin for two years. Nothing had changed with Jimin's feelings towards his ex-best friend even after two years so in 11th grade he had decided to start and court Jungkook again.

He hoped that now that they were both more mature the younger would maybe agree with going on a date with him.

Well now as Jimin was crying on the bathroom floor he knew that he had hold on to an illusion, that would never become reality. Jungkook doesn't see Jimin as a lover and it was obvious that he won't change his mind any time soon.
