Jimin was so nervous, that he felt like his heart would stop at any minute now, his thoughts racing about what could happen. The whole day at school he couldn't concentrate at all, so he just gave up after some time and started to imagine his date with Jungkook.

Would the younger kiss him? Would he like to go on a second date? Would he finally accept Jimin's feelings?

Jimin didn't know but he really hoped so, after all these years of crushing over Jungkook it felt like he was finally making a step forward.

Of course he had also thought of what Joon had told him, the other had pointed out that he found it weird that Jungkook was suddenly agreeing on going out, not just agreeing but actually asking Jimin out.

Jimin didn't agree with Joon's concerns, he knew that Jungkook was a good kid and he had always been sure that the younger would return his feelings someday after he'd give Jungkook some time.

He hadn't been so sure of that anymore a few days ago, because of what had happened but maybe this incident led to Jungkook realizing his feelings, or at least giving him a chance.

The last lesson for the day was math, Jimin's favorite lesson, not only because he loved math but also because it was the only subject in which Jungkook sat in front of him. He could stare at the younger during the whole lesson without the younger noticing it. (Nope not creepy at all, thank you very much.)

After the uneventful math lesson, Jungkook passed by Jimin's table and when their eyes met, the younger smiled at him, almost shyly. Jimin was just as shy and waved at the taller boy. Taehyung, Jungkook's best friend walked behind Jungkook and laughed as he saw the shy smiles the two boys exchanged, saying something to Jungkook that made him tense suddenly.

The classroom was too loud so Jimin sadly hadn't heard what Taehyung had said that made, Jungkook so tense in a sudden. He brushed it off and just packed his belongings so he could make his way back home.

Taehyung and Jungkook were long gone when he finally made his way outside of school to start walking home, Jimin wasn't disappointed that the younger hadn't waited for him, it was already a miracle that he'd be going on date with Jungkook.
Jimin just pulled his headphones out of his bag pack and plugged them in.

At 6 pm Jimin was ready, his hair freshly washed and straightened, decent make up complementing his features and tight jeans hugging his legs tightly. Jimin always had been a little self conscious of his appearance, but today he had to say that he indeed looked handsome.

Now he had still over an hour until the younger would pick him up so he decided to just watch some TV in the living room. His mother was already sitting on the couch watching her favorite TV show, a blanket wrapped around her body. She smiled at her son as she heard him enter the living room.

Her eyes became wide when she saw Jimin, "Oh my Jiminie, you look so good." She exclaimed with a bright smile. "Who is the lucky boy?"

Jimin blushed furiously at the mention of a boy, embarrassed that his mother could read him so well. "It's Jungkook, you know the one I used to hang out with a few years ago."

Jimin's mother of course knew about the only boy that used to be willing to hang out with her son, he had been a great boy and she could still remember how happy she had been about Jimin finally finding a friend. Sadly after a few months, Jungkook stopped coming over and Jimin was back to being mostly alone at home.
That time she hadn't asked what happened as she didn't want to hurt her baby even more, but she was curious why they were suddenly going on a date together.

"That's nice Jimin, I remember you were really good friends a few years ago." She said, happy for him, deciding to ask him after the date.

Jimin's eyes shined as he agreed, "I can't wait to go on the date, i really like him." Jimin's mom wanted to coo at the cute expression on his face, hoping that this boy would never hurt him.

"What are you two going to do anyway? Do you need money?" She asked, already standing up to get her purse from the dining room, where she always left her bag.

Jimin held her back by her arm and shook his head, "No, no mom it's fine, we're just going to the cinema and I still have money saved up. You need the money more than me."

Jimin knew it wasn't easy for his mom, raising him alone and that she already had two jobs so she could afford the expensive house near the center Seoul.

Jimin originally was raised in Busan, but then his parents divorced and his dad moved to Seoul, Jimin of course missed his dad a lot so Jimin's mom had decided to move to Seoul as well so Jimin could still see his dad regularly.

He was beyond grateful for that, because he loved his dad a lot, but he also knew it wasn't easy for his mom. She had become pregnant with Jimin when she was only 20 so she hadn't finished college and now could only do jobs that weren't well paid.

His mom smiled, proud that her son was such a mature boy, she then pulled him into a tight hug and pressed a kiss onto his forehead. After that they just watched some TV together until the doorbell suddenly rang, Jimin was up in a matter of seconds and practically ran to the door.

And there in front of him stood Jungkook and he looked hot, tight ripped jeans, a black dressing shirt and a black leather jacket complementing his wide shoulders and small waist. It reminded him of the old times, when Jungkook used to pick him up to hang out together only that the cute, shy Jungkook had changed into the hottest boy in school.

"Hey Jimin, ready for our date?" He asked extending his hand for Jimin to take, Jimin was sure his heart stopped beating at that moment.
