Kacey and the ALDC(Dance Moms Fanfic)

Chapter 10

Kacey's P.O.V~

I wake up to Chloe shaking me awake. "C'mon girl! It's competition Day!!!" She says as I open my eyes. "Morning." I say to her getting out of bed. I quickly make my bed and then check my phone. "Cmon lets go to breakfast then come back up and get ready!" Chloe says. I smile and follow her downstairs for breakfast. 

We get downstairs and see everyone eating at the table. "Morning girls." Abby says. "Good morning Mrs.Abby!" Chloe and I say together. We go over to the buffet and grab food before coming back to the table. I sit in-between Nia and Kenzie. "How are you guys?" I ask them while buttering my bagel. "I'm good!" Kenzie says smiling at me. We all eat and talk before going back up to our rooms.

 I check the time and see that its 7:30. We have to be at the competition which is downstairs  by 8:30. I quickly hop in the shower and wash my hair. I then wash my body. I shave my armpits and legs before exiting the shower. I dry off and put on my nude bra and underwear with tights. 

I put on my aldc tank top and leggings with my competition jacket. I blow-dry my hair and then grab all of my competition stuff. Chloe finishes getting ready and then we go downstairs to the dressing room.

 We enter the dressing room and Melissa already has my makeup thing set up. "Alright soloists get ready for your solos. " Abby says. I get dressed into my costume and then Melissa helps me put my hair into the bun hairstyle that Abby wanted. 

I get y makeup done which is just the typical competition makeup that I usually do. I put on a dark red lipstick and then get into my jazz shoes and grab my feather boa, and my mirror.  I put my jacket over my costume and walk down with the other soloists. Kendall goes first with her Jazz solo to All That Jazz from Chicago and she messes up her big turn and finale.  Next Kalani goes with her lyrical solo tightrope to this really pretty instrumental song and then Nia goes with her solo Bye which is this acro/lyrical solo.  

I get ready and go onstage when they call my name. I stand with my foot beveled and my mirror out infront of me with my boa over me like a scarf. The music starts and I start dancing. I dance my heart out making sure to hit every facial expression at the exact moment.I get ready to do the big turn sequence and I do 12 foutes into a triple pirouette before landing it. I keep going and my stag leap is so big that my foot touches my forehead. I do a couple acro tricks that Abby had put in and then it gets going to the big finale. I do my 15 a la second turns into jazz pirouettes. I land them and then do a pas de bourree into a side ariel, then landing in my right split with my left arm over my head with my hand flat facing up and my right hand holding my e on the ground. I get a standing ovation and I get up and walk offstage.
