Music begins to play as a montage rolls of them transforming their house into a studio.

Dave is making a sign, Roger is moving tables to make a secretary office, and John is on his phone doing nothing.

Also, the mean secretary gets employed as their secretary.

Music fades away as camera cuts to them all sitting on the couches, with a laptop in front.

DAVE: Guys, we've got a problem.

ROGER: What is it?

DAVE: It turns out that the footage John stole is all just footage of what went on Behind the Scenes.

ROGER: So...

DAVE: We can't release a movie about how we made a movie!

ROGER: Why not?

DAVE: Because who wants to watch three morons try to make a Home & Away movie?

ROGER: The real question here is who doesn't want to watch how three morons made a Home & Away movie.

DAVE: Practically everyone in the world.

ROGER: How about this. Before you say no-

DAVE: Which I already have, many times.

ROGER: We'll watch the clips and see if there's any good material that we could turn into a movie.

They walk over to a desk that has a laptop on top of it.

Then, they hit play on the material that they have recorded.

The camera shows John doing the first scene, and then it loads a second scene.

JOHN (ON THE CAMERA): Wow! Today is looking so radical at the beach, I might get an Ice-cream! Wait, what! That dog just became an ice-cream!

Another scene loads.

JOHN (ON THE CAMERA): Wow! Today is looking so mediocre at the beach, I might buy a new surfboard! OH NO! NOT AGAIN! That dog just stole my surfboard... again!

Another scene loads.

JOHN (ON THE CAMERA): Wow, today looks really terrible. I want to die at this beach. This gosh darn dog keeps stealing all of my stuff. I might go noose myself now. OH NO! That dog just stole my noose!

Music fades in as the two of them start laughing.

ROGER: So what do you think?

DAVE: I think that we are going to make a movie about how we attempted to make a Home & Away movie.

ROGER: Let's do it!

Clips of them working on marketing begin to play.

Multiple clips of trailers blowing up on Youtube, news networks calling it a huge upcoming movie and how it is sure to be a success.

Soon Dave is on a talk show, The Really Late Afternoon Show with Scotty Fallon.

SCOTTY: Pleasure to have you here with us today, Dave.

DAVE: Thanks Dave.

SCOTTY: So would I be correct in saying that every single minute on this film is recovered footage from when you, Roger & John attempted to make a Home & Away movie?

DAVE: Yes, that is entirely true.

SCOTTY: So why did you even want to make a Home & Away movie to begin with?

DAVE: Well, why wouldn't I?

SCOTTY: Because the show is shit.

DAVE: Shit in a good way or...?

Roger begins to do voiceover as people walk into a cinema and the lights dim. The camera is focused only on a blank cinema screen.

ROGER (VOICE OVER): Sometimes it's the journey that means more than the destination. I had finally released a movie.

But the only story that really matters is the story of how three failures came together to create something great. Sometimes it's what happens behind the scenes that can make a movie legendary.

And yes, John would go on to win ten Oscars for his role in this movie, I would win one, and Dave would also win one.

In the end, I would make a Home & Away movie. I also made a sequel, that had a Neighbours crossover in it. But like I said, that isn't the story that matters. When making a movie, it's all about what happens-
