((The picture is kind of how I see Scarlett/Soldado to look. I'm working on a drawing. She's of Hispanic descent but her hair is a little shorter.))
For the second time, my eyes blinked opened. Fortunately I didn't have to go through the ordeal of not having my body be unable to function again.
I turned my head and searched the room I was in. It was a quaint and clean bedroom. Nothing too special. Except there was a girl with silver hair sleeping peacefully at the side of the bed.
Moving slowly, which wasn't that hard to do, I attempted to climb off of the mattress without waking her.
Standing, I noticed a suit of armor laying neatly on a table against the wall. Was it mine? I don't really remember what I was wearing.
I walked over to the steel and fabric and picked up the chest plate. It looked to be about my size. All I had on was a short with a single loose red sleeve shirt and red pants. Maybe that's what I wore under it.
As I sat the chest plate back on the table it knocked against another piece of metal, causing it to start falling to the floor. Quickly, I was somehow able to catch it, however, my sudden movements led to me bumping the table. All of the different parts of the armor rattled.
I sucked in a breath before looking over my shoulder at the girl.
Slowly the girl's head rose and her eyes blinked open. Her silky white hair fell over her shoulders as she drowsy looked around the room for the source of her disturbance. Her blue eyes widened when she saw me.
"You're awake! How are you feeling? You startled us all when you fell into our bar."
"I'm feeling alright, I guess," I spoke. My voice was raspy, probably from not talking in who knows how long.
The beautiful girl glided towards me. "My name is Elizabeth. What's yours?"
"Tora Scarlett." I didn't even think about it. My body's first reaction was to say that as my name. But I thought it was Valiente. Why am I hiding myself?
"It's very nice to meet you, Miss Scarlett! Are you hungry?" I nodded. "Why don't you come with me and I'll get something fixed up for you?"
I followed her out of the room and down a flight of stairs. The downstairs did in fact look like a bar, with three wooden tables and many chairs scattered around the room. Looking out the window it appeared to be early morning.
Elizabeth had me sit down as she went behind the counter to make some food. Whatever she was making smelled relatively good. Right as she was coming out with two plates full of steaming food two people came walking into the room from the stairs.
One was tall and had silver hair, the other was short, almost childlike with gorgeous green eyes.
The silver haired man yawned and had his eyes closed, searching the back of his head. "Who's cookin'? I thought I was supposed to make breakfast today."
"Good morning, Sir Ban! How are you, Sir Meliodas?" Elizabeth greeted them both. She walked over, placing one of the plates in front of me.
"Great now that I can see you!" the small blond man exclaimed. "Well I see our lady in shining armor has woken up. Did you sleep well?"
I nodded. I was honestly feeling way better than the first time I woke up.
Elizabeth sat next to me and the aforementioned Sir Meliodas stood close behind her.
"Well, Miss Lady, what's your name?" Ban asked.
"Tora Scarlett." This time I decided to say that name. I don't know if I was still being hunted, but I didn't want to take any chances.
"Well, I'm Meliodas, and that guy is Ban. If you don't mind me asking, what happened to you to make you collapse into my bar?" His bar? But he looked way too young.
I sat and thought for a second. "I don't really know. I remember waking up in a forest and realised I needed a drink. This was this first building I happened upon and because I felt so weak I guess I just couldn't stay awake."
Elizabeth looked at me with kind and worried eyes. "You lost your memory?"
