Chapter 3

Author's POV

The nine Shinobi raced to meet disaster before it could strike their village, in hopes of possibly being able to stop it.

"We will meet them in the Land of Waves and stop them there. That is where our battlefield will be.", the Third announced.

"We aren't too far off, and neither are they. I can sense them coming in fast. Our plan to meet them in the Land of Waves will go as planned.", Arata stated.

"Good. Let's show them the power of Daungakure and avenge Jura."

"YES SIR!", the Shinobi yelled in response as they sped up the pace to make it to their destination in time.

Twenty minutes later, they'd reached the Land of Waves and opposing forces weren't too far behind. Almost moments later, the thousands of Shinobi came rushing into the scene, only to find the nine Daungakure Shinobi standing before them. The opposing Shinobi came to a stop. Both sides were in a sort of stand off waiting for either side to make a move, until a black haired Shinobi from Kusagakure stepped out in front.

"Really? They only sent nine Shinobi to stop us? This has to be some sort of joke."

"We're gonna give you two options. One, turn around and leave now. Report back to the leaders of your villages and arrange a peace treaty between us. Or two, you can all die here. Your choice.", the DownKage announced as he gripped his sword.

The Shinobi laughed. "Well if it isn't Dodai Otaku, the Third DownKage. How nice of you to grace us with your presence, but you're completely outnumbered. There's no way we'd run back to our villages."

"Then you leave us no choice."

The Third DownKage gave a signal before they all ran full speed towards the opposing Shinobi. "As if we'd let you all get close enough to engage in close combat. Distance fighters, attack now!!", the Kusagakure Shinobi yelled.

Immediately following his orders, multiple fireballs and strong wind style attacks came flying at them.

"Water Style: Water Missle!", Kata yelled as she started taking out the fireballs as she and her team continued advancing.

"Wind Style: Great Breakthrough!", Arata also yelled as he countered the Wind Style attacks.

"Earth and Water Style attacks, now!", the black haired Shinobi yelled.

"Earth Style: Earth Spear!", a large group of Shinobi yelled as large, sharp earthen spears emerged from the ground to impale their opponents.

"Water Style: Water Bullets!", another group of Shinobi yelled as Water bullets flew at the Daungakure ninja at full force.

The Daungakure Shinobi jumped into the air as Yasahiro stomped the ground, causing the earth spears to turn into huge crystals which not only nullified the attacks but also collided with the water bullets. The collision caused a huge cloud of smoke to appear, and from the smoke emerged more crystal spears which began to strike down the enemy forces at random. The crystal spears began to take out opponents back to back and showed no signs of letting up. As soon as the Daungakure Shinobi feet touched the ground, they continued advancing.

"Dammit! Attack," the Kusagakure Shinobi commanded as the forces began to enclose the gap between them and attack while other Shinobi continued with ninjutsu attacks.

"Scatter," yelled the Third Downkage. The shinobi did as he said and quickly scattered to take out more enemies. Finally colliding with the enemy forces, the shinobi began to combat.
