Jimin walked downstairs with his suit buttoned up and ready. He saw his father and Jihyun at the table, but no mother.

The day after the party she threw divorce papers and a note to Jimin into their mail.

'Jimin,

Have fun with my new hubby. I want to see you try and take care of that baby while I'm fucking him.

-your ex-boyfriend's wife'

Jihyun had stolen the note before Jimin could properly read it, so Jimin only knew it was mean. Their father, though, used it as evidence he should keep custody of the teen and young adult (until Jimin moved out).

"Hey, Jihyunni, Dad," Jimin kisses his younger brother's hair and hugged his father, who had a bright smile.

"I'm proud of you, kid. I really regret not getting you any tutoring or help when you were younger. If you could tell Jungkook I said thank you, but also tell him that these amends don't mean I won't kill him if he leaves you, okay?" the man cupped his son's puffy cheeks and grinned.

"Yeah," Jimin nodded, continuing to hug his father.

"Ah, Chim, tell me when I can visit! I want to see... it?" Jihyun almost slipped, but caught himself.

"Thanks for keeping the secret, Hyun. I love you both," Jimin sat down at the table and they ate their breakfast, then hearing a knock at the door.

Their father had a smug look, crossing his arms and puffing out his chest like he was so proud of himself. "Go ahead, Jimin."

Jimin hesitantly opened the first door to see Jungkook in the screen.

"Kookie!" Jimin swung the screen door open and leaped into the older's arms. He snuggled close with him, heart leaping out of his chest.

"Hey, handsome," Jungkook cooed, combing his hand through Jimin's soft brown hair.

"Ah, Jungkook. Long time, no see, huh?" Jimin's father stood up to see his old friend.

"Park Beomsoo! Hasn't it?" Jungkook chuckled, holding his hand out to shake. "Where is Jiae?"

"She left for good reason, young man. Now let's get going for a quick lunch."

"Yoongi, I'm scared!" Jimin whined, sitting down at their average table, waiting to be put in a line. All of the seats outside were ready and the band was practicing while families went to the bleachers.

"Oh, hush. You're graduating, you got fucking high honor roll!" Yoongi reminded the younger.

On his last report card of the year his grades were high.

CONGRATULATIONS! You made HIGH HONOR ROLL!

They could even be considered high than Yoongi's, who only got honor roll.

The principal began to call out names for the line, and that line was spiraled all around the cafeteria. They walked out of the doors to the road and traveled down to their football field where the bleachers were. In front of him was Chanyeol, and behind him was Jinyoung, two of his friends back in middle school.

They all took their seat calmly, Jimin's heart racing while he looked for Jihyun and his dad. He saw them, front row, smiling at him and waving. He waved back slightly, before turning to where all of the staff sat, but there was an empty seat.

Jungkook's seat.

"Good evening, everyone! And welcome to our school, KC Yearly! We pride ourselves on the name of the Daemyung Killer Whales! Why may you ask? Well, our school was founded by the one and only Kevin Lars Constantine, the coach of our lovely hockey team. His schools were shared for students who may have a strong passion for hockey and sports! Anyways, while I get off topic, we gather here to celebrate the graduating class of 2019!" One of the popular betas with a strong talent in charisma was up on the podium with the mic close to her and a binder with pages upon pages in front.

The crowd cheered, and stomped, and whistles, and clapped, as the band began to play music. It was composed by the band itself to honor their school.

When the music stopped a new voice came from the speakers.

"We are glad to be bringing up your sons and daughters to be the great people they really are. This year, lots of our students showed dedication and hope, and proved to someone who was barely even a millennial, how the world could soon change. This was my first year teaching after college, and I didn't expect to get such a wonderful experience from my students. Your children have become overachievers and are now ready. To anyone who wants to be the first to step on Mars, the one to find the cure for cancer, the one to save our planet, you could take our students as examples. If one of my fellow students is someone wishing to achieve such a goal, I hope this school taught you something. Something that could make your goal even more remarkable," Jungkook said, enthusiasm in his voice.

Jimin listened to those words and felt like crying. He didn't really know why, it just did. Happy tears,'of course.

What felt like hours later, they started the main ceremony. Names were called up and they held onto their diplomas with urgent care.

"Park Jimin," the principal announced, watching the young boy walk down to retrieve his award.

Jimin felt it all go in slow motion, his robe blowing against the wind as he felt all giddy inside. He got up next to the first staff, and got his diploma. He shook hands with the two members of the school board. He saw Jungkook jump up from his seat and give him a big fucking hug in front of the entire school.

"Congratulations, baby..."
