The test ended, Jimin feeling unsurely confident. With his mother, he was on his knees with gloves and a shovel.

"Jimin, love... have you thought about going to the gym, recently?" his mother asked with a hint of sass in her voice.

"N-no. I've been s-sort of busy," Jimin breathed out. He had been busy. Busy going to the doctor's, buying maternity clothes, and cuddling with Jungkook in his big sweaters.

"Well, I think it'd be nice if you went. And I could always appoint you a diet," she grinned sinisterly.

"Mom, I don't think I should. You know how clumsy I am," Jimin chuckled. His heart was racing. He wasn't planning on having to explain stuff this early. He hadn't packed one thing, other than what he was going to sell for money.

"Oh, no problem. I have some medicine you could take to heighten your metabolism!" she smiled.

"Does she know? Is she trying to trick me into getting a fucking abortion?" Jimin felt his body slower. His mom was always controlling of his weight, but she spoke as if she knew. Knew who Jimin was with, who the father was. "I want Kookie... m' scared."

"Well?" she raised an eyebrow, standing in her flowing floral dress. Her nose and cheeks were burnt from the sun, her pale skin barely darker. But her beauty couldn't hide her intentions. She hated her son, she hated herself for disappointing her alpha with an omega son. For giving them someone who would rebel, love the men. Someone who'd bear the child of a family enemy.

"No thank you, m-mom. Y-you know, I'm going to take a nap before dinner," Jimin rushed to stand and trot off, only to hear that cold voice once again.

"Was it really Jeon? You do know your father worked hard to escape the Jeon's control. Your father was great friends with JongKook. Brothers even," she sighed.

"Jungkook isn't my uncle," Jimin growled back. What would Yoongi do?

"Maybe not biologically, and surely not now. But can you imagine how disappointed he would be when he found out you were pregnant with his rival's pup?" Jimin tried to stay strong, but Jihyun couldn't see this and without him, he was nothing against his mother.

"I-I'm not carrying his pups," Jimin denied with strain in his voice.

"But you are. Don't think I couldn't see his handsome face when you met all those nights. If I wasn't mated I'd be sure to treat Jungkook like the alpha he is. I'd let him do anything, I'll be sure to let him know who the real treat is in this house with a whore like you."

"I'm nothing like you!" Jimin shouted, his heart racing. "You'd leave dad for a pure alpha, Well, that might be more disappointing to him than the fact I have a better relationship than you!"

"As if you'd tell," she rolled her eyes. "What if I'd been fucking Jungkook? Your man isn't as loyal as you thought, huh?"

"Dad won't even be shocked," Jimin stomped away from the woman he had to call his mother. She was always pretty fucked up and treated Jimin like one of her son's horribly behaved friends.

Going in through the glass door, he saw his father calmly sitting on the couch. He was snacking on a popsicle, watching hockey like the old Canadian he was.

"Hey, Jimin. How are you, kid?" the man chuckled to his beloved first son. He would gladly leave his inheritance to his omega son. Jihyun, born as an alpha, could get good jobs already by his biological position. And he was a genius, so how much more money would he need?

Jimin, however, would be judged for his position as an omega. Their rights were still very faulty among the government, as only alphas and betas were allowed to run in politics.

"Mom has confessed to me some disappointing things you might want to hear," Jimin sat down, trying to sound as confident as possible.

"Is it about her wanting to get rid of you and your little bundle of joy? Because, if so, I'll take care of it," the man smiled, petting his son's fluffy hair.

"I guess there's no hiding it. But, it's sorta about that. She said she'd try to take my... my boyfriend away. That she'd leave you, cheat on you, carry someone else's pups only because they were pure bred and handsome," Jimin confessed quietly.

"Mm... and what did she call you? Your mother can't talk shit without calling someone a name," his father stood from the old couch, remote in his hand while he watched our home team win.

"Oh... a-um... w-whore?" Jimin looked up with his big eyes to see his father go dark.

"I'll take care of it. Go into Jihyun's room, call someone over. Occupy yourself and don't worry your pretty little head, okay?" and with that, Jimin's father glared at his wife who'd insulted and threatened his son's life, the one who'd never treated him like she did her alpha son. Those fucking roles that the government placed were making the world a miserable place for his sons and friends.

"Suddenly, the word gardens doesn't seem so cheerful."
