It's a couple days before New Year's Eve... yay I think everyone is talking about there New Years resolution. I have the same one each year but I keep breaking it. It's like when people say they want to workout more but break it by the month. I'm sitting at Riley house eating Mac n cheese then Riley speaks up
"How long are avoiding this" she say
"Avoiding what" I ask
"Avoiding nothing just moving on with that thing that happen between me and Lucas" Maya says my mouth dropped
"Avoided what" I say again more concerned. Then Riley started making fish noises
"YOU GUYS KISSED" I yelled
"It wasn't a kiss" Maya said I sigh of relief
" It wasn't" said Riley
"Not it was Lucas grabbing my face and holding it really close" Maya says
"Well that's not awkward" I said. Then Riley grabbed the ketchup bottle
"I swear if you put ketchup on your Mac n cheese " Maya warned then Riley put some on her food. I my jaw dropped in disgust
"Well... I'm done eating" I say pushing my food away.
Next day
We were in language arts and Harper puts on her board does love make sense then Maya pointed at it
"No no no no no" she says
"Well would you look at that" Riley says
"That sucks for all three of ya" I say and they turn back to give me the evil stare. Harper started talking about the book then that Charlie kid raised his hand he stood up
"I saw the movie" he says
"Why" everyone says
"Cause I'm sensitive" he says
"Why" everyone says again
"Cause I got a mother and a sister that hogs the tv and sits on me like a bean bag" he says
"Did you learn anything from the movie" Harper asks
"No... but I learned that in a relationship you need to learn to build a sensitivity" he says
"Why" me and Lucas says. We turn to face each other and high five each other then everyone was looking at us
"I thought we were still doing that" Lucas says I laugh
"Charlie is right with one of the girls it hides the feelings while the other girl has over used her feelings" then me and darkly stand up
"What happens to the one who knows the one girls secrets" Farkle says
"And the one who just figured this stuff out but already knew the secret before the other person knew" I ask
"They both get married and the only ones who end up happy at the end" Harper says. Farkle looks and me and we both say at the same time
"Eh" then we both sit back down. Then Lucas looks over to me and says
"How did you figure out all this stuff" he says
"Me and you not done talking we need to talk about what ever this shindig is" I says then the bell rings I stand up and go to my locker. I open in up and see there a note in it I open it up
Texas freak
I sigh and close locker I take the note and put it in my binder. Then I go off to the next class.
