"This your house?" Derek said pulling up the car.

"Yeah." Evie got up and opened the door.
Derek helped isaac out and into the house. "Where shall I put him." He said in his usual grumpy Derek voice.

"Upstairs on my bed, I'll sleep on the floor." She lead the way up the stairs and into her room, she had a single bed in the corner of the room.
Derek let out a chuckle and he touched her dream catcher that was hanging above the bed. It had a wolfs face in the centre.
"I've had it for years."

"I'll come for isaac tomorrow morning, I need him and Erica at the ice rink."

"Okay." Evie bowed her head and this earned a smile from Derek.

He walked out and she heard him shut the door. Isaac was led on the bed asleep, he must have had it pretty rough at the station she figured.

"Hey, Isaac." Evie placed her hand of his shoulder and he stirred in his sleep rolling over.

"Evie..." he said faintly and he opened his eyes.

"It's okay you have tonight to rest before the morning.... I'm going to sleep on the floor tonight, Derek said I need to keep an eye on you."

"Why?"

"Why what?"

"Why sleep on the floor." He questioned sitting up and gazing at her.

Evie swallowed and looked at him,
"You're nervous?" He said.

"I'm sleeping on the floor because I thought I'd give you the bed."

Isaac nodded his head then he moved over to the far side of the bed, "I don't take up a whole bed." He smiled gently.

"Your inviting me to bed." Evie giggled.

"Maybe."

Evie took off her shoes and hoodie and then got onto the bed next to isaac, he could hear her heart pounding, she turned to face the other direction and isaac put his arm around her and pulled her towards him.
His breath was gently hitting the back of her neck she smiled and shut her eyes tight.

"Looks like someone's made a friend,"

Isaac snapped awake and noticed him and Evie led face to face close up together.
He looked up and made eye contact with Derek.
Erica walked in behind him and ran her hand through her long silky blond hair.

"We're recruiting Boyd." Derek said bluntly he walked out the room and shouted, "so get up."

Erica walked out after him. Evie woke up by the noise and then looked at how close her and Isaac were. There bodies were pressed together.
She moved back, "sorry." She muttered before getting up and starting to get dressed.
"Why are you sorry?" He said as he swung with legs out of bed and jumped up.
"I don't know."

Evie grabbed her bag and isaac followed her closely put the door.
"About time." Derek snapped.

"We took 2 minutes." Isaac replied.

Him and Evie got in the back of Dereks car. It was a silent, awkward journey to the ice rink.

They all followed Derek in and onto the ice where Boyd was on a machine, smoothing out the ice.

Isaac walked behind Evie closely,
"Why do you need us here if your recruiting." Erica asked Derek and he just replied bluntly.
"Scott."

Evie looked around nervously, isaac and her stopped walking in the middle of the rink while Derek and Erica went to sort Boyd out with a precious bite.

A few minutes later Derek and Erica walked back over to isaac and Evie and left Boyd with a bite back on the machine.

Scott walked in quickly to Boyd and started talking to him about how he doesn't want this.

Derek quietly growled, "Scott, how about you get a few opinions about me before you judge me." He snarled.
"Erica?"

"Well let's just say it's been transformative." She let out a loud snarl and showed off her fangs at Scott.

"Isaac?"

He looked at Evie and pushed her behind him, "I'm a bit bummed out about being a fugitive, but apart from that, grate."

Evie held onto the back of his leather jacket and she caught eyes with Scott.
He looked at her with concern on his face before looking at Derek.
"This isn't a fair fight."

"Well then go home Scott." Derek smiled and then clicked his fingers signalling for Erica and isaac to go for him.

Erica walked with confidence before colliding with Scott and he sends her flying across the ice.
Evie let go of isaacs jacket as he walked towards Scott.
They traded punches before Scott sends isaac flying into the side of the ice rink.
"I meant this wasn't a fair fight for them." Scott snarled at Derek before Erica made another attack and failed.
Evie bit her lip,
"Derek you need to help them." She said urgently.

"Fine." He growled.

"He isn't doing this for you." Scott said desperately, "he's just making you into guard dogs."

Derek smiled then flicked out with wrist to reveal his claws.
He eyes flashed red and his neck almost seemed to snap as he strode over to Scott.

Evie ran forwards to Erica and Isaac's unconscious bodies on the floor.
She shook Erica violently and she woke up gasping for air. They both sat up and watched Derek pin Scott against the floor, they could hear Scott's bones cracking.
They traded a conversation and then Derek let him go and walked back over to Evie and helped her carry them out into the car.
