18: End for All

Jiyoo's POV

Its been 3 year since I've been dating Minjae.

But the thing is... We haven't seen eah other for 3 years...

He moved to America to compete in a Dance Competition.

We were still in touch with our phones. I just miss him so much... I want to see him.

"Jiyoo, will you get the groceries for me?"

I took my phone and texted Minjae, ' Hope to see you someday <3 ' and put it back into mt pocket. I grabbed the list of the groceries needed and qalked to the store.

It was just a few blocks away, so no worries.

I walked in the store and grabbed some potatoes, carrots, cheese etc. I even took a bag of chips, just for me.

I heard my phone ringing and I answered, "Hello?"

"WALK OUTSIDE NOW!" I was startled of the voice who called me. I hung up. Pranks... It was just a random number...

As I walked to the counter to pay, my phone rang again. I didnt answer but it gave me a voice mail saying, "COME OUT NOW."

I was a bit curious so I walked out. No one was there.

As I was about to walk off—a man from behind covered my mouth and a bunch of people grabbed me and preventing me from moving as they were bringing me in the car.

I asked for help but no one was there.

And then all I saw was black...

I heard voices and they removed the mask that was covering my face.

And then all of a sudden—

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU~"

I saw my bestfriends , my family , and my classmates.

They untied me and clapped and sang and gave me presents.

"Awww! Thanks guys! I didnt even know it wa my birthday!"

"Holf on a sec! I still have a present for you!" Rosette said and walked to the foor and as she opened it...

Minjae walked in holding a small present.

I gasped and teared up, straightly hugging him. "I missed you..."

He hugged me back, "I missed you too..."

He took a step back after the hug and explained, "I won the competition and I kinda retired from being a celebrity."

I was confused, "But it was your dream! Why?"

"Because..." He took another step back and kneeled down on one foot. Holding his gift he opened and a ring popped out. "Jiyoo, will you marry me?"

I covered my mouth in shock and cried. "Y-Yes!" I said in between sobs.

He stood up and gave me the ring as we hugged.

"I will love you forever." He told me.
"I will too."

And we kissed as everyone cheered on.

In every ending, there will always be a sad, a tragic one , and even a happy one. You dont get what ending you want. It's choosing it.

Weither the person you were in love with never loved you back, all you have to do is to stay strong. Someday, you will find the one.

Sometimes, patience is the key.

And today, it's a happy ending for all.
