Two-Girl Meets Request(Maya)

- Oh my god, that's Nick! - I start to smile like an idiot.

- My favorite cousin! - he walks up to me and pulls me into a big hug.

- My favorite cousin! - we both laugh. After we're done acting like little kids he looks to my friends.

- The famous Riley Matthews, Lucas Friar and Zay Babineaux. I' ve heard lots of stuff about you guys. Riley the Sweet, Lucas the Good and Zay the Clever. - he looks at me and I shake my head. - No, that's Farkle, then you must be Zay the Listener. - Zay starts smiling.

- Zay, the Listener I like it. - he stares into my eyes for a while. I look at Riley who is standing next to him and freak out. She sometimes opens her mouth, then without saying a single word she closes it again.

- Maya! Bay window, now! - she is nervous. I don't if it's because of Zay or Nick.

- Riles, there is no bay window here. - she looks confused so I try to figure something out. I grab her arm and pull her to a quiet place where no ones stands.

- What's the matter Pumpkin?

- Who is that boy? - she asks.

- He is Nick, my cousin. I don't talk about him much because he is the only person from my dads family who I keep contact with. He has been really supportive throughout the last few years.

- Nick Hart, I knew that he was not just a simple friend of Josh. - as she talks my eyes widen. I run back to Nick, leaving Riley in shock. I am just about to ask him, when a teacher walks into the class we are suppossed to atend. We go in and take our seats.

- Hello class! My name is Mr.Andrews and I am going to be with you today. Your teacher is sick this week but he told me not to start without him so you can do anything as long as you stay quiet.

I look over to my friends and see that everything is fine. Lucas and Zay are talking about Texas, while Riley is drawing something. It's a purple cat. I need to smile at her art, remembering every time she painted a purple cat before. When our middle school art teacher first saw how I paint and had one of my works in her gallery, while Riles was painting the purple cat next to me. When I lost myself in high school and she covered me in purple, which made me come back.

- Maya. You okay? - I look up and see Lucas sitting next to me. His eyes are curiously shining, while I slowly come back to reality.
- What's up Huckleberry?
- Well, you didn't move for fifteen minutes and I thought I would check on you to see if you are still alive. - he smiles at me. When he doesn't stop I try to ignore him. After a few more minutes he is still next to me, not showing any signs of going away.

- What do you want to know, Ranger Roy?

- Nooo. Ranger Roy is back? - he looks annoyed, but his smile also grows bigger.

- Yaay, it's back. Maybe, if you stop staring at me like this, I'll stop calling you Ranger Roy.

- Okay. - he immediately turns his head to my desk.

- Thanks Ranger Rick. - we both laugh. We talk for a while about summer and how much we miss Farkle, when he suddenly changes the subject.

- Who is Nick?

- Why is everybody so interested in my cousin? - he raises his eyebrow, then looks at Riley, which makes me understand the situation.

- Are you jealous? - he looks down and turns red. - Do you want me to ask some questions from Riley?

- Would you do that for me? - he makes puppy eyes.

- More likely for Nick, but yeah.

- Thank you Maya. - he smiles at me then walks back to his chair.

After the lesson as we walk out of class we bump into Josh and Nick. They both look at me, then Nick turns to Riley. He is just about to say something when Riley's phone starts to ring.

- It's Farkle. - she says happily. I walk next to her, which finally ends the akward meeting. Josh looks at me, smiles and walks away. Nick follows him, and I concentrate on the phone. I start to smile when I see Farkle's calling icon. It's an old picture of the three of us.

- Ladies! - the video chat starts and we finally see him. It has been two weeks since I last saw him so I get a really good feeling when I look at him. Even if it is only through a phone.

- Farkle.

- You won't believe who we met this morning. - Riley talks excitedly.

- Josh? - as I hear his name my heart starts beating faster. I look around to make sure no one noticed and I can see him at the other end of the hallways talking to... Claire. I almost forgot about her.

- Yeah, him too but we also met Maya's secret cousin.

- You met Nick? - Farkle asks, leaving Riley in shock.

- How do you know him? - She looks very interested about Nick, which makes Lucas cough a little.

- When we were younger Maya talked about him sometimes and she also showed pictures. - he answers. - As much as I would like to talk to you girls all day I have to go soon. Riley can you give Lucas for a second?

- Yeah. Bye Farkle. - she hands over her phone to Lucas. As the boys start talking I pull her over to finally ask her about things.

- Riles, do you like my cousin?
