Lucas's POV
January 15, Tuesday, 2016
"Come on, Lucas! Get off your phone, we need to study for the quiz!" Maya said.

Me and Maya where studying for our Spanish exam tomorrow. Maya's room got some things moved around. For her recent 15th birthday she got a new bigger bed and a couch. She put her new bed right below her window, and her couch where her bed used to be.

And I was currently on the couch on my phone, playing the new mobile fort nite. And Maya, was sitting on the far corner of the left side of her bed, taking notes.

I looked up from my phone and groaned, "ugh, why?"

"Um... did you want to fail the exam tomorrow? Usually, I'm the one that doesn't study for things, then people have to make me study. But this test is important." She said, stubbornly.

I groaned once again and put my phone in my backpack. I looked to the side of me at a pile of papers and books, but only one book caught my attention.

It was a brown, leather, book and it had the words 'Maya's Songbook' sewn neatly in cursive.

I smirked, "Your write music." I said, still looking at the book.

She looked confused, but then she saw what I was staring at.

She looked down at her nails and started to play with them, "Oh... it's nothing." She said, looking a little embarrassed.

I hopped on the bed on the side of my body and looked up at her.

I smirked, "Sing something for me." I said, kind of demanding.

She nodded left to right slowly and slowly said, "No."

I grinned really wide like and idiot, and she smiled back.

"Ok, Huckleberry, shut your face." She pointed at me, "It's not happening."

As she was saying this, I thought of something to say that would make her show me the Songbook.

I smiled at her evilly, "Maya, I don't know. I've never heard of the game 'Truth Or Dare' before!" I yelled, in hope that her mom, Katy, would hear.

Maya's smile disappeared. She looked at the door, probably thinking her mom would come in, and then back at me.

"Shut up! What are you doing my mom will hear!" She whisper yelled.

I laughed once and continued, "MAYA!!!" I screamed as I started to shake the bed, to make it as if she was doing something naughty to me, "What are you doing!!!" I screamed, louder than before.

She started to quickly crawl over to me and said, "Stop it!", and when she got over to me she covered my mouth so I couldn't say anything more. She was now hovering over me on her knees.

"Maya! What's going on in there?" Her mom called from another room.

She looked at the door, "Nothing, mom! Nothing!" She answered loudly.

She looked back at me.

I smirked under her hand, and licked her hand.

She pulled her hand away instantly, "Ewww! Lucas!" She yelled at me.

She looked at me and squinted, "Your a freak." She said.

I chuckled and she giggled, "Now get over there." She said as she pushed me over to the other side of her bed by her pillows.

She crawled off of the bed and picked up the book.

I honestly couldn't believe she gave in.

She flipped through the book, I'm assuming to find a song for me to read.

Once she found a song she liked, she looked at me and squinted again.

"This thing is like a diary to me. You do so much as roll your eyes, I swear, I will murder you." She said lowly.

I chuckled, "Ok. Cross my heart, hope to die." I said, making an x over where my chest is.

Then she shoved the open book to me, and sat down on the couch and looked down.

I read the whole song and it was amazing. It was called 'Eyes Wide Open' but I wasn't really sure what it was about.

I smiled when I reached the end of the song, and without looking up from the book, I said, "Maya, this is awesome!"

She didn't say anything, but I could see her blushing from the corner of my eye.

I started to flip the page, but she quickly took the book away from me.

"No no no, one song is enough." She said and closed the book.

"Awww," I started as I put my bottom lip out, "at least sing to me." I pouted.

"No." She said, and I could tell it was her final answer.

I smirked and started to shake the bed, again, but she stopped me before I could say anything.

"Would you stop it with that!" She yelled.

"Why? It works on you." I said smirking.

"What works on me? Shaking the bed and screaming to make it sound like I'm trying to have sex with you?" She asked.

I was speechless, so she continued.

"It may have worked on me once, but it won't work again. Sorry Ranger Roy." She said, in a baby's voice.

"Your no fun." I pouted and crossed my arms.

She giggled and I chuckled a little.

A little later we decided we should probably stop pretending to study. So I went home, not only that, but also because it was getting late.

I knew Maya Hart could paint, and was a pretty good softball, but didn't know she could write. And maybe even sing.
