It was seven-thirty in the morning when I finally conquered the goddess of sleep..slowly opening my eyes it went straight to the Alarm clock...blurry at first....then clear.

"Oh shit! I'm late for school!"

I jumped out of bed and rushed to the bathroom pulling off my pajamas and at then same time reaching for my tooth brush, smearing the paste, I jammed it in my mouth and pulled off my underwear, I started brushing my teeth profusely and cussing under my breath.Gosh I'm gonna miss first period... Thinking out loud "oh God why didn't..." I trailed off.

"Wait... Today is Wednesday!" I exclaimed, swiftly pushing my scattered hair away from my eyes.

"It's my mum's wedding day! Not a school day!" I opened my mouth in surprise and the tooth brush fell out.... Staring at my reflection in the mirror.

I was butt naked and had tooth paste smeared on my face...I was in a hurry to go...

NO WHERE!

thinking deeper.

I'm DONE WITH MY EXAMS!

Now how in Gods name will I go back to sleep?

Descending stairs after thirty minutes spent wooing the goddess of sleep back to me I gave up and decided to go see the "Bride".... Approaching her room door I was hearing chatterers and laughters.... gently knocking on her door I opened it.

" may I come in?" I asked but entered anyway.
In the room was aunt Josephine, mum's childhood friend and brides maid..

For the second time.

And her five year old daughter Annabelle, wearing a nice white gown..obviously the flower girl...Now imagine me in that dress posing as mum's flower girl, a shiver ran down my spine at the thought of it even heaven knows it's a bad idea.

"Congratulations mum". I said bending to kiss her... She was getting her make up done by aunt Josephine..

" oh thank you dear..you can't tell how happy I am..sweets I've been dreaming of this day since I was a little girl!" She chirped..." Just at your age". She said at last, giving little Annabelle a nose pinch.

"Your imagination was that vars at her age mum?" I said raising a brow.

"Oh you know what I mean Chelsea don't trouble me." She said quickly, gingerly patting her hair in perfection. I laughed shaking my head.

" Don't mind your mum Chelsea, she has butterflies in her stomach". Aunt Josephine said  laughing at her joke.

"Isn't that a flu mum?" Annabelle asked puzzled. Everyone laughed, I laughed so much I got teary eyed, then her mum spoke up choking on her laughter.

"No dear". She said patting little Annabelle.

" I'm just excited dear that's what your mummy is trying to say." mum said pinching the little girl's cheeks. She smiled in return.

"Go get dressed chel ,the reception starts by 10am." Mum said looking at me.

"Okay." I answered getting up and leaving the room.

The car horn alerted me. It was time to go, I wore the flowery dress Richard bought me and i stretched my hair letting it fall on my shoulders aunt Josephine helped with my make up so it was all complete, sighing i picked up my clutch purse and exited my room shutting the door behind me.

"What took you so long?" Aunt Josephine asked as I entered and sat beside her in the car.I shrugged and relaxed looking out the window as the car jerked into motion. Mum's car was in front,Richard made provision for a car and driver..when it arrived last night I fell in love  with her..she was sprayed sky blue and the colour took my breath away...only if I had one like that. I thought to myself, I'd be so_

"We are there!" Aunt Josephine's voice jerked me out of my thoughts
I did a mental eye roll and got down..

The ceremony was to take place in Richards garden so we followed the uniformed guy and he escorted us to the venue, mum had disappeared with aunt Josephine probably to get ready for the grand entry of the bride...I wonder who will be the father... I thought to myself...because last I checked, granddad is DEAD.

DYLAN'S POV

I had just settled on my seat when she entered at first, I thought she was the bride but then I realized she wasn't because she was coming my way but didn't glance my direction her attention was on Michael's dad who was standing by priest, she sat beside me and her perfume filled my nostrils as I quickly looked away...she looked so slender and beautiful in that dress, our gentle shoulder brush made my intake of breath fast and my heartbeat unsteady.. Who is this girl? I asked myself... Anger slowly sipping through my veins as frustration set in. I HATED THE WAY I WAS FEELING. And was having this urgent need to get away from her. When I finally decided to stand up and take the seat in the next row, music started then the bride stood at the entrance, a smile on her face  and a striking resemblance with the girl next to me.
