 Male POV

I was nothing more than an illusion to the mature, less than a myth to the genius and non-existent to the rest of the world. It was something I had learned to cope with.

I looked towards reality through a looking glass, what humans call a 'mirror' . A thin layer of solid reflective substance that the castle maids cleaned and polished everyday. It stood in the middle of the rusted balcony and had a protective spell over it. Gold lace-like bars outlined the object and engraved are the words "Quae, odio habendi sint" Which has reminded and kept my people and I in check every single day of my demon king life. Through the looking glass were creatures who looked nothing like the disoriented individuals we were.

Humans.

These two-legged creatures were physically beautiful, they give off the warmest smiles and the best greetings. It was quite disappointing that these unique living people are the source of their hunger fulfillment, feeding off to the evil, wicked aura and emotions they harbor

 Emotions like

Anger.

"I can't believe this!' Gesturing to the broken vase on the floor 'How clumsy can you get! , all you had to do was rearrange the flowers!, then I come home, to find my precious vase in pieces!!!' The woman held the child's wrist tight and pulled him harshly towards her.

SLAP!

"You clumsy idiot!"

Envy.

"Have you heard about Jessica's new purse. It was so fab!" Giggling she continue "It had these pink diamonds across the handle and it was sooo amazing!"

One teen looked towards her friends, then glanced at the blonde and her purse that they kept gushing on about. She narrowed her eyes and clenched her fists.

'Che, it's not like it's that great.' She thought, then looked down. Secretly hoping that she had one of her own.

Hate.

"WHAT HAVE I EVEN DONE TO YOU!" Nancy cried out, holding her sore cheek, as she tried to stand up.

Thompson only growled and raised his hand once again, hitting the other side of Nancy's cheek.

"WOULD YOU JUST SHUT UP!"

Nancy's eyes widened as he landed another punch on her stomach.

"I HATE YOU!!!!" He cried out. Who can blame him? , he simply despises his little sister.

And Greed.

"Please, can I have some?" tugging on the pedestrian's suit "I haven't eaten for days"

He looked up and saw the cold, narrowed eyes of the man, and cringed as he smirked and ate the bread in a slow attitude, voicing out the crunchiness and the taste of one single bread.

The lone child walked away. Gripping on his stomach.

While the man peeked into his bag. 'Che, this bread and all these other loafs are for me only'

It hadn't really crossed his mind that maybe these 'Humans' did those for a reason. I didn't really care, for they were just nothing more than food to Me, for me and my people.

It changed when she came around.
