Female POV

"Love makes you do loads of crazy things"

Chapter 1

I ran through the crowd and squuezed myself through the mass of businessmen and women, It was 15:40. I was late for my own party gig and that was just terrible. I stopped infront of the pedestrian lane and looked both right and left, jsut like how my Mommy taught me, and crossed quickly. I felt the strap of my high heels come loose, and just when I was about to fix it, I heard someone shout

"Hey!"

I continued fixing the strap and ignored the loud call, must be for someone from this busy crowd. Screams and car horns suddenly erupted from the already noisy crowd and I slowly turned back, to meet a red-headed boy's, gold eyes. He stared right back, then suddenly flew as he made impact with the vehicle, the unconcious body laid in the middle of a round and due to good mannerisms. I fished my phone out of my pink glittery purse and dialed 911.

"Hello, you've reached Emergency Services. How can I help you?"

Right then and there I lost all sense and felt the words rush out of me and panickly babbled the current situation.

"Ma'am where are you right now?"

"Parkwood"

"Alright, Ma'am. We'll send an ambulance right away, but for now please keep an eye on the victim."

"Wait, I can-"

I was suddenly cut off as the woman on the phone placed it's receiver down. I can't wait here. I have things to do, candles to blow and pizza to munch. My 21st birthday would not end in shambles all cause some guy was suddenly a victim of a hit-and-run.

It was 16:54 when the ambulance arrived. So much for sending an ambulance right away. Following their trail was 2 police cars and another ambulance. A paramedic suddenly approached me and had his clipboard out, but I heed him no attention. Instead, I looked up and decided to let nature do it's work to give the rest of my special day. Sirens and bright blue and red lights surrounded me that current evening. Woo. Way to celebrate my birthday.

"Can you tell me what happened?"

I directed my gaze from the starless sky to the blond male paramedic holding a brown clipboard, designed with countless Sanrio© stickers. It's either he's married and with kids or...something else

"I can't exactly tell every detail, but I saw him alive and kicking over there, then suddenly blam! He's unconcious"

"Alright." He clicked his pen with his chin and scribbled down on the clipboard. "Would you happen to know why he's unconcious?"

Raising my eyebrow, Are you blaming me?"

The man eyed me suspiciously and darted his eyes up and down, observing me.

"Were not blaming anyone. Were just making sure, that there is only an accident, and not a criminal on loose"

I rolled my eyes and watched him stride away.

Tap.

I looked behind me to see another paramedic offering me an apologetic smile, emphasizing the little freckles on his face.

"Sorry for Dave's attitude, he just had a bad day."

He brought out his own clipboard and a blue pen. Clicking it open with his rounded chin, he looked at me before asking me a question.
