We were staying in a hotel until the bus made it to pick us up.

"Ross and Ratliff can share a room. Me, Stormie, and the kids can share a room too." Dad said. Mom nodded.

"Dad, the kids can stay with me."

Dad shook his head. "Parents need breaks from their kids sometimes Ross."

I smiled and hugged him. "Thank you."

He nodded and hugged me back.

"So Ross, I saw you talking to that girl on the plane. Get her number?" Ellington asked wiggling his eyebrows.

I laughed, so did he. I pushed him playfully.

"I actually did, Rydel and Riker seemed to like her too."

"That's saying something. What's her name?" Ratliff asked.

"Laura."

"Oh my God! Raura!" Ellington exclaimed. I rolled my eyes.

"Shut the fuck up dude."

My Mom spanked my butt playfully. "You're not too old for a spanking."

"Tired." Rocky mumbled pulling on my shirt. "Awwww you're tired again baby?"

I could tell all the kids were jet lagged even though they were asleep most of the flight.

He nodded rubbing his eyes. I picked him up. I kissed all over his face.

Rocky giggled holding my face in his hands.

"You're the best Daddy in the whole wide world!"

I laughed. "Thank you, you're the best Rocky in the whole wide world."

Rocky giggled again. "Even better than the Paw Patrol Rocky?"

I nodded, "Even better than him."

"Awwwwwww! You guys are so cute." Mom gushed.

"Go to Gracious." I said giving Rocky to Mom. Gracious is what the kids call Mom sometimes.

Mom kissed all over his face. Rocky squealed.

Dad finally came back and gave me and Ellington the room key for our room.

"I'll see you tomorrow." I said kissing all of my kids' foreheads.

"Love you Daddy." They said together. It literally warmed my heart. "Love you too."

"What about me!?" Ratliff pouted. The kids smiled at him.

"Love you Uncle Ratliff."

"I love you guys too!" Ratliff fake cried. Ryland laughed.

I said my good nights and I love yous to my parents.

Ellington and I walked to our room which was 2 rooms down from my parents'.

"I totally ship you and Laura." Ratliff laughed. I rolled my eyes but smiled.

"You don't even know her." I looked in my suitcase for my pajamas, Ellington also was.

"I don't need to. Riker and Rydel like her, they're the only ones who actually remember Courtney and to say that they like her is a good thing. Especially for Riker." Ellington said sitting on the bed.

"I know, but I don't want them to feel like I'm trying to replace Courtney."

"Ross, they're 4 years old. How the hell would they feel some type of way about having another mom. Rocky asked me what having a Mom felt like earlier."

I pulled my shirt over my head and down my torso.

I sighed. "They're smarter than we think Ell."

"I promise everything is going to work out."

"Laura and I aren't even dating yet and we're already talking about her being a Mom."

I took my pants off and decided to just wear boxers and a shirt to sleep.

"I heard her talking with Riker when you went to the bathroom. Riker was talking about Courtney and she comforted him just like a mom. She wants to be something in their life."

I rolled my eyes. "I'm tired so you can sleep on this and talk to me in the morning."

Ellington scoffed. "How dare you!" I bursted out laughing.

"I can't take you seriously Ratliff." I laughed. Ellington ended up laughing too.

"Okay, we've got a hockey game to go to tomorrow and you have a show."

I agreed. "Goodnight man." I said pulling the covers up to my chin. "Goodnight bro."

Within minutes, I was knocked out.

Next Day...

Ratliff and I got dressed in the Kings' Jerseys. I also managed to get all the kids kings' jerseys with their names on it back in L.A.

"I'm so ready for this!" Ellington said excitedly. I laughed. "So am I."

I heard knocking at our door. "Get it Rat!"

Ratliff jumped up and opened the door.

"My babies!" I yelled as my kids jumped on top of me.

"I'm not a baby." Riker smiled. I kissed his head. "You're my baby."

"Daddy! You have a show today." Rydel giggled. "I know sweetheart."

"Can we see Laura today?" Riker asked. "I don't know maybe."

"Who's Laura?" Mom asked looking between me and Riker.

"Just a girl I met on the plane. Rydel and Riker seem to really like her."

They both nodded.

"Daddy!" Ryland cried with his arms out. I picked him up.

"What's wrong with Daddy's favorite little man?" I cooed bouncing him. He laid his head on my shoulder.

"Tired." He whined. So he has jet lag apparently.

"You can take a nap." I said patting his back.

"Daddy did you know that Uncle Ratliff's a rat?" Rocky asked tugging on my shirt.

Everyone laughed. "He's not a rat Rock, it's just his last name,"
