Just Another Day At School

Marinett Dupain-Chang was woken by her phone ringing. 
"Uugh"

"Get up girl, I'm not letting you come late today!"

It was her best friend, Alya. "Just five more minutes"

"No way girl. There's a new student starting today, and they say they know Ladybug and Chat Noir's identities!"

"What! How did they, I mean you, find out!?"

"They posted on the ladyblog that they were starting at our school!"

"Wow"

"I know right!"

"Well I gotta go Alya, gotta get ready."

"Don't be late! Oh, and bring something from the bakery."

"Sure thing Alya"

Adrien Agrest groaned as he checked the date, today the new kid was arriving and Master Wu had asked him to ensure that, if they did indeed know, the newbie kept their mouth shut about the hero's identities.

"C'mon Plagg, we need to go."

"Just one more piece?"

"No"

"Ugh, fine"

Adrien holds his jacket open and Plagg flies into his hiding place. I wonder if Marinett will bring something from the bakery?

As Marinett rounds the corner to her school she sees Alya, Nino and Adrien standing in the main doorway chatting [Pun Alert].

"Hey Marinett, isn't this the first time you've been early to school?"

"I guess. But I'm really excited about the new student."

"Did you bring the stuff from the bakery?"

"Of course Alya."

Marinett holds out the box she is holding and Alya quickly grabs three macaroons. 

"Good, 'cause I'm starving."

"Alya! Those aren't for you!"

"You're right"

Alya hands Adrien and Nino each a macaroon

"Thanks Dudette"

"Thank you Alya, Marinett's macaroons are heaven."

"H-how did you know these were m-mine?"

"Only you make them pale pink with spots."

"Do you think the new student will like them?"

"I'm sure they will, but if not the macaroons won't go to waste."

Adrien and Nino laugh as Alya pats her tummy with a very satisfied smirk on her face. 

"ADRIKINS!!!"

"Oh no! Hide me!" 

Adrien pretends to hide behind Nino as a yellow blur comes streaking their way. Alya placed a warning hand on Marinett's arm as Chloe gave Adrien a big hug and tried to kiss him. 

"Adrikins, why haven't you responded to any of my texts?!"

Adrien wore a look that said that he had been ignoring them. "I've been busy with the schedule my dad got Nathalie to set up for me."

"Well, we best get off to class!"

Alya interrupted in an overly cheerful voice as she signalled for Nino to grab Adrien whilst she dragged Marinett off to class.

Hmm... a new girl?
