The Rise Of Lockett

Boom!

A loud crash came from outside.

"Oh come on, I want a holiday."

"Alya?"

"Well gotta go, see ya later."

Alya rushed out of the classroom, looking for a place to transform. 

"Alya wait!"

"Don't worry Nino, I'll go after her, you and Adrien find cover."

"What about you?"

"I'll be fine, I'll have Rena Rouge to protect me."

Marinett runs after Alya and Nino looked at Adrien in confusion. 

"Did I miss something?"

"Not too much. Look I gotta go get something from my bag, you go find somewhere to hide."

"Sure thing dude."

Adrien ran over to the locker room and let out a sigh of relief. 

"C'mon Plagg, Paris need Chat Noir.""Aww, I was enjoying watching you flounder."

"Whatever. Plagg, Claws Out!"

Adrien transformed into Chat Noir.

Meanwhile Marinett stopped running as soon as she made it to the girl's toilets. 

"Marinett?"

"Yeah Tikki?"

"What happened? I couldn't see or hear."

"Chloé happened, and once again we have to clean up her mess."

"Well what are you waiting for?"

"Tikki, Spots On!"

Marinett transformed into Ladybug. Now, to find Alya. Marinett found Alya on the roofof the school. 

"L-Ladybug-"

"What's wrong Rena?"

"My secret's out."

"On your blog?"

"No, just my two closest friends, my boyfriend and a new girl."

"You trusted a new girl with your identity?"

"She already knew."

"We are going to have a talk with this 'new girl' after this is over."

Adrien vaulted onto the roof. 

"Speaking of which, we should probably get started on this akuma M'Lady."

"Do we have any information on the victim?"

"She's the new girl, her name is Bridgett, she claims she knows your identities, and I think the akuma is in her pendant."

"The little key around her neck?"

"That's the one."

"Well, now that we're all up to date, let's go find her."

The trio started off towards the Efiel Tower when they spot the akumatized victim.

"Ladybug, Chat Noir, how lovely to see you. I see you brought the blogger with you!"

"Bridgett-"

"That's not my name anymore, from now on my name is Lockett!"

Bridgett, or Lockett as we must now call her, wore knee-high, sea-blue boots, elbow-length, sea-green gloves and a skin-tight suit that started out sea-green and faded into sea-blue. She had an unlocked padlock symbol on her chest and a black mask, in her hand Lockett held a much larger version of herpendant as a weapon.

"Anyone I touch with my key is compelled to share their most treasured secrets!"

The trio shared a look that told how much it would cost them to be touched. 

"We're going to need a plan, if we get touched by that thing our secret identities are out the window. We have to distract her somehow."

"My identity isn't as important as yours, I'll be the distraction."

Rena piped up.

"Are you sure?"

"Positive."

"Okay, here's the plan; Chat, head towards the Bridge and wait for my signal, Rena, try to lead Lockett slowly to Chat but keep her distracted."

"What about you?"

"I'm going to use my lucky charm. Okay, let's do this."

Following Marinett's plan Alya flipped in front of Lockett calling out tauntingly. Lockett took the bait and started to focus more on the sly, fox of a hero in front of her. Meanwhile Adrien and Marinett slipped away towards the Bridge. 

Once there, Marinett called Alya to let her know that they were in position. Soon enough both bug and cat could hear Lockett's screams of outrage as their foxy companion came into view. Alya ran out onto the middle of the bridge and hoped Ladybug knew what she was doing as Lockett came closer. 

"I've got you now, you pesky fox, and your going to pay, unless you hand over your miraculous right now."

"Never!"

"Very well th-"

"Lucky Charm!"

Marinett jumped out of her hiding spot as she used her powers. She was thoroughly confused when she caught old Chinese textbook out of the air. 

"What am I supposed to do with this?"

Marinett looked around but nothing seemed to be coming to her, the last few times this had happened it was a clue to see Master Fu maybe that's what needed to be done. Adrien watched as his Lady caught an old Chinese textbook and gave it a confused look, recognising it as one Master Fu had shown him he quickly moved away from the ' battle zone' and called Ladybug. 

"Chat?"

"M'Lady, the book, I know what it means, but I'm going to have to disappear for a bit, let Rena know what's going on."

"I'm trusting you Chaton."

"I know M'Lady."

Adrien hung up and found a safe place to detransform somewhere close to Master Fu's healing salon.
