Time To Move On

"The cat approaches."

Wayzz, Master Fu's kwami, ducked out of view as someone knocked on the door. 

"Come in Chat Noir."

Adrien quickly entered the room, closing the door behind him as his kwami (that's Plagg BTW) soared over to the cassette player on the mantle piece. 

"Wayzz, where are you?"

"I'm right here, Plagg."

The green turtle kwami flew out of his hiding place and over the group. 

"Chat Noir, why are you here? Isn't there an akuma on the loose?"

"Well, Ladybug used her Lucky Charm and it was one of the old Chinese textbooks you showed me and Ladybug was having trouble, so I thought it was a sign for me to come and see you."

"Maybe..."

Master Fu looked at his kwami with a question in his eyes. 

"Maybe it's time for a new hero to join the team. Chat Noir, is there someone you can trust to use a miraculous for the right reasons and keep what they know a secret?"

Adrien's thoughts immediately when's to Nino. He smiled. 

"Yes Master."

"Very well then, Wayzz?"

"Wait, what?!"

Master Fu smiled at his kwami who nodded as the old man slipped his miraculous, a turtle bracelet, of his wrist. Wayzz disappeared into the bracelet. 

"Wayzz!"

Plagg flew over to the bracelet and hugged it to his tiny chest. 

"Why did you do that?"

"Because it's time for a new turtle to join you, and I am too old to be a miraculous holder any longer."

"Isn't there any another miraculous left?"

"Ah, you mean the bee miraculous, I already have a holder in mind for that miraculous."

"Who?"

"That information is not for you to know, but for you to discover when your team mate can find trust in you."

Master Fu placed the turtle miraculous in a box and handed it to Adrien. 

"It's time for you to go, good luck Chat Noir."

Meanwhile, Marinett groaned as Chat hung up. 

"Now what?"

She herd her earrings beep, warning her that she only had four more minutes until she changed back.Marinett quickly called Alya. 

"Ladybug? What's going on?"

"Change of plans, get out of here."

"B-But-"

"No buts Alya, go find somewhere safe to detransform, then stay hidden."

"Yes Ladybug."

Marinett watched as Alya disappeared somewhere into the city, hopefully she would know to stay away from anywhere familiar. As she turned to leave she herd someone laughing behind her.

"Looks like like your precious plan has failed and both your cat and fox have bailed! Give up Ladybug, and hand over your Miraculous!"

"Never!"

Marinett's earrings gave another beep, three minutes. Hurry up Chat! Marinett threw her yo-yo, it wrapped around a nearby antenna and she pulled on it. As she shifted her waight in preparation to jump she felt something around her ankle, looking down she saw it was the end of the handle of Lockett's key. 

"You're not getting away this time Ladybug! I'm keeping you here until your transformation wears off, then everyone will know who you are, and I can safely take your miraculous!"

Another beep made Marinett's shoulders slump in defeat. Where was Chat when she needed him. 

Chat! That was it!Marinett quickly grabbed her yo-yo off her belt and called Chat.
