Chapter 13

Cassie's POV

I can't believe it... How could he do this to me? And on my birthday! Sure I don't like having a party to celebrate the day I wish never happened, but still.

I sigh as I am still holding in sobs. I run to my room ignoring the questions from the girls and throw myself face down on my bed. Then, I just let it all out. My muffled screams and constant sobs the only thing filling my quiet room. Soon I hear the door open. Crap I forgot to lock it.

The bed dips as someone sits down and rubs my back. I look up to see Louis looking at me.

"Hey." I sniffle. Honestly he's the only person that I want to see right now.

"Hey." He replies sadly.

I sit up and wrap my arms around him burying my face in his shoulder. He pulls me into a hug and continues to comfort me. As I cry Louis whispers about how everything will be okay in the end. This goes on for an hour until I'm all out of tears. I lay down and Louis kisses the top of my head before he's about to leave. I grab his arm and shake my head not wanting to be alone.

He seems to understand as he goes and locks the door and takes off his shirt and lays next to me. I snuggle into him and lay my head on his chest. He smiles at me and I smile back slightly.

"Good night Cassa-Boo."

"Night Boo-Bear."

With that we fall asleep in each others company. Me exhausted from tears and heartbreak.

I wake up to the sound of yelling coming from downstairs. I sit up and see Louis looking at me.

"Morning sunshine." He smiles.

"Mornin'. What's going on downstairs?"

"Uhhhh... I don't know..." He lies.

"Lou I know you're lying."

He sighs, "fine. Niall's trying to get the others to let him see you."

"Oh..." I look down.

Louis wraps me in a hug and whispers. "I won't let him hurt you again. If you don't want to see him I'll make him go away."

"Thank you Lou." I say as I hug him back.

"Anything for you." He smiles.

I smile back as his words tug at my shattered heart. "Can we get some food? I don't care if Niall's down there I'm starved."

He laughs. "Sure love." He stands up and holds his hand out.

"Can you carry me?" I ask like a little kid.

He laughs, "sure hop on." He turns around so I can hop on his back.

"Yay!" I laugh as I hop on his back.

"You owe me Kitty."

"I'll make us pancakes then."

"YES!"

I laugh. "Lets go Boo-Bear."

"Okay okay." He laughs as we head down the stairs.

When we get down the stairs everyone falls silent and looks at us. Niall's the first one to speak.

"Cassie please let me explain babe."

I feel Louis tense under me.

"No need to explain I saw what I saw. You cheated end of story." I glare at him as i start to tear up again. I whisper in Louis ear, "kitchen please."

Lou gives a small nod and walks to the kitchen.

"PLEASE CASS!" Niall yells after us starting to head in but stopped by Liam.

I don't reply. Louis puts me down and I start to make breakfast. As I'm waiting for the pancakes to be able to flip Louis wraps his arms around me waist and sets his chin on my shoulder.

"You know, I would never do what he did to you Cassie."

"I believe that..." I sigh.

"Good. Will you give me the chance to prove it to you?"

I sigh again and stop moving all together, "Louis I just got cheated on... I don't think now is the best time to ask that..."

"I didn't mean now... I meant when you're ready..."

"Well in that case.... Maybe."

"Really?" He asks with hope.

"Really." I confirm.

"Thank you." He says and kisses me on the cheek.

I laugh slightly and put the pancakes on two plates along with bacon. I put whipped cream and chocolate chips on the pancakes and hand it to Louis. "Eat up Boo-Bear."

"Gladly." He smiles cheekily.

I laugh and eat. When we're done we go outside where the rest of our friends were. Louis sits down as far from Niall as possible and pulls me down next to him. Niall looks at me with a broken look. Ignore him Cassie he cheated in you. He doesn't deserve pity. I think to myself as I listen to the conversation going on around me.

Louis then grabs my hand and intertwines our fingers. I look at him as he smiles at me. Causing me to smile back just the smallest smile. I glance at Niall and he's glaring at mine and Louis' intertwined hands. God it doesn't mean anything... And why would he even care if it did?

Suddenly, Niall gets up and grabs my other hand pulling me up and into the house.

"NIALL LET ME GO!"

"No. We have to talk."

"There's nothing to talk about!" I pull my hand out of his grip.

He pins me up against a wall gently making sure not to cause any pain. I still flinch though causing him to let go completely, "Cass I was drunk. I don't even remember anything happening. I would never do that to you."

"But you did." I whimper.

"I didn't mean to! I didn't know anything when I did!"

"Just leave me alone Niall."

"Not till you listen."

"She said leave her alone." I hear behind Niall. We both look to see Louis standing there with his arms crossed over his chest.

"But-" Niall starts to speak but Louis cuts him off.

"Now." Louis' tone was final and warning.

Niall sighs and leaves. Louis comes up and hugs me.

"Shhhh don't cry kitty." He coo's. I didn't realize I was crying until he told me. I stop crying and just hug him. Silently having flashbacks from my past.
