The Neighbor

Chapter 3

Lily's POV

I grabbed my iPhone and slipped it into my backpocket. I left my house and walked down the street. I saw Nash sitting on a picnic blanket.

"Hey." He smiled and stood up and gave me a hug.

"Hey." I smiled back.

"How's it going?" He asked.

"Good, how's your day been?" I asked.

"Well considering Cameron, Matt, and Carter at my house alone, I'm scared." Nash laughed.

"They visited you all the way from Virginia and California?" I was surprised.

"Yeah" Nash smiled. We sat down on the blanket and spread out the food.

"Thanks for coming" Nash smiled.

"No problem, you're pretty cool anyways" I smiled

"I'm just glad you're not a crazy fangirl. Only here for the fame or money" Nash smiled.

"I'm not like that" I look down.

"I know" Nash smiled and then took a bite of his sandwich.

"I'm allergic to peanut butter" I stared at the food.

Nash turned pale "I'm so sorry! I didn't know, I should've—" He started to freak out.

"Relax, I'm only kidding." I told him.

"Thank god." Nash blushed.

"This is the nicest thing a guy has ever done for me." I admitted.

"Anything for you." Nash gave me a small wink then took a bite out of his sandwich and I did the same. "Do you penny board?"

I shook my head, "No."

"I need to teach you." Nash smiled. I smiled back, we finished eating our sandwiches, when he jumped up.

"In a hurry?" I asked. He grabbed the trash and threw it away, then helped me up off the blanket then picked up the blanket.

"We are going to my house" He said.

"Why?" I ask.

"I'm going to teach you how to ride a penny board!" He smiled.

"No, Nash you don't have too." I looked down. He took my hand and led my to his house. We walked inside and I saw Cameron, Matt, and Carter running around in their boxers. I quickly looked away.

"You didn't tell us you were bringing her home!" Cameron shouted.

"Put on some pants then we will talk." Nash laughed. The boys put on pants then Nash told me I could look, so I did.

"I'm Carter" He smiled.

"I'm Cameron." He waved.

"I'm Mattchew." He did a dinosaur pose.

"Lily." I mumbled.

"I'm going to borrow one of y'all penny boards." Nash smiled.

"Use mine, I brought two, we can all ride." Cameron looked through another bag and pulled out two. Matt pulled out one, and so did Carter.

"Mine is in my room, be right back" Nash took off, then quickly came back holding his. Cameron handed me a blue and purple one and then we walked out side. Cameron, Matt, and Carter started riding down the street, leaving me alone with Nash.

"Sorry about them." Nash sighed.

"It's fine." I forced a smile. Nash helped me and taught me a little. I was a fast learner and I was getting the hang of it.

"She's a keeper!" I heard Cameron yell.

Nash rolled his eyes, "Sorry"

"It's fine" I blushed.
