Lily's POV
I started at Matt, trying to think things through. Did I like him? Wait, what about Nash? No. I was frusterating myself. I couldn't think straight. Apparently, Matt had sensed I wasn't feeling okay, because he got a wet, cold rag, to put on my forehead. He picked me up, bridal style, laying me on the bed, then putting the rag on my forehead. I slowed my breathing.
I can't believe that I just kissed him. I don't like him like that but what about Nash. I'm gonna have to tell him at some point. Wait, maybe I won't. I think we just broke up so I won't have to tell him. Maybe I should though I mean, Matt's one of his best friends. I think I should tell him, but at a different time. I think I'm going to go home, maybe that's a better idea.
"I'm sorry." Matt whispered.
"For?" I asked.
"Kissing you." Matt looked down.
I sat up removing the rag from my forehead, "Don't be."
"What?" He looked at me confused.
"Don't be sorry." I whispered.
He nodded, "Okay."
"But we can't be together." I told him.
"I know, it's for the best. I totally understand." Matt smiled.
I kissed his cheek, "Good."
