Luke's POV:

"Finally school's over," I jump out of my seat as soon as the last bell rang. I couldn't concentrate on anything today. The only thing that I could think about was my audition. As I made my way to my locker, I found that my friends were already there waiting for me.

"What took you so long, Luke. We've been waiting forever," Theo complains.

"Not even a minute has passed since the bell rung Theo," I raise my eyebrow to make my point obvious.

"But that's too long," we all just laugh at his impatience. To be honest, I'm kind of restless too. I just want to get this audition over with, and finally start my days as an official member of Lost & Found.

John, James, Theo, and I start to make our way to Lost & Found. Ever since we were little, we dreamed up forming a band and making music. We would always meet at my house to practice, and we would stay up so late that my mom has to throw them out so they can start heading home. We just hoped that one day we'll be lucky and finally be able to live out our dream. Once we discovered that Lost & Found opened 2 years ago, we decided to take our chance and audition.

And now here we are. Making our way to Lost & Found. To our dream.

Now, we are all aware that the auditions are solos, but I'm not so worried. We all helped each other to improve our performances, and I'm confident that we are all going to get in.
After a few minutes, we all stop at the front entrance of the music studio.

"Well boys," John says looking at us, "this is it." We all take a deep breath and follow John inside.

We followed the signs to what seems like a cafe. Once we walked inside, we noticed the immense numbers of kids and the very little room left in the cafe.

Wow, there's so many here to audition. I started to worry slightly, but John saw my face and instantly read my mind.

He put his hand on my shoulder. "Don't worry, Luke, I'm sure we're all going to get in. Just have faith." His calming voice restored my confidence and now I'm ready to give my all in this audition. We all just make small talk for a several minutes and that's when we heard someone asking everyone to make two lines. That's when John pointed out something - or someone I should say.

"Hey guys, don't those two girls go to our school?" He motions to the two girls walking inside the cafe. One had long, straight black hair, green eyes, and palish skin. The other girl had long, curly brown hair, hazel eyes, and slight natural tint of red on her lips. She was actually kind of pretty.

"Oh yeah, they do!" James says. "Isn't the girl with the curly hair in your choir class, Luke?"

I take another look at her and realize that James was right. She is in my choir class. How come I didn't notice her before?

"Now that you say it, yeah, she is in my choir class."

"It took you that long to realize that?" John looks at me quizzically.

"Hey, don't judge me!" I raise my hands in defense. "It's just that I don't pay attention sometimes."

"Sometimes! That's an understatement! You never pay attention," They all start laughing at John's slightly true comment.

"Anyways, we should be focusing on our audition. It's just about to start," I tell them to divert the attention off of me.

"Luke's right!" John agrees. "We are going to go out there and make them beg us to be a part of Lost & Found!" We all fist bump each other and follow the kids in front of us towards the audition room.
