I'm beginning to become tipster by the drink
I haven't gone out and drank at all sense the break up I feel the guys watching me as I danced with random strangers
Orlando finally comes to greet me on the dance floor. We end up dancing hard with the random regulars at the club
"I need a drink" I yell into Orlando's ear
"We're leaving here to go back to Braun's remember" he stops me "how could I forget the stupid team sleep over before training" I say remember we do this super coney sleepover
"I wanna meet Yelich, Florida" I say holding onto Orlando as we leave the club
"You will hun" he laughs getting into the black suv being filled with three of the guys
Two faces are new and one is my old buddy Travis (shaw)
The others belonged to Yelich and Cain
"Orlando this is Yelich and Cain " Shaw says from the back seat of the car
He turns around and greets the boys
"This is Ellie guys " he says pointing to me "so kind of you to come to our first big spring training day " Cain says
"Excuse me " I say abit confused he gives me a even more confused face back
" your not Orlando's girlfriend ? " he's says uncertain
"I'm Ellie Davidson first Mlb female" I say confidence
"Oh shit I'm so sorry it's a honor to meet you" he apologizes
i rolled my eyes and turned around to sit quietly in my seat
"don't take it personal she has a attitude problem" orlando says nexts to me laughing it off with them
i just gave him the side eye
im used to this thought just kinda annoying to hear it from someone who's gonna be your teammate.
As soon as we showed up to Ryan's place I wasn't in the mood to party or do the sleep over
I went looking for Ryan's wife Larisa while everyone was in the open room/ living room just talking and doing boy things
That's the one thing about baseball with the guys you literally have to find a way to fit in or you'll never make it to the place I am in
I found Larisa in her and Ryan's bed room watching tv
I knocked before walking in jumping on the bed
"Hey hun how are you" she says kindly she's always been the nicest person I've met and I feel that's important to have being she's in charge of so many amazing opportunities the brewer have and get from her leading them
"I'm doing okay Larisa" I say resting my head down
"What's got you in a funk" "nothing just Boys being boys"
"Want me to go yell at them smack them around a bit" she laughs "no but that would be nice to watch"
"I don't think I would be able to actually do it you got all them whipped to you they'll do anything you say"
"Power is key"I say pointing to my head and then at hers
"Can I run a couple ideas by you for the wife's softball game"
"Sure can"
"I was thinking we do it against the cubs wife's since it's such a crazy series you guys go through"
"Okay I wouldn't do the first series we have probably like the second only to hype it up a bit"
"There's gonna be no hype but okay" she says frowning "why do you say that"
"Because half the wife's I'm forcing to play Eric's wife is pregnant for gosh sake and I'm forcing her to pitch"
"I don't under stand why there all like this. It's like you date a baseball player and you turn too good for anything" I say rolling my eyes
"Would it be cheating if we used you" she says laughing
"Who am I dating or married too on the team then"
"Well by the time the game comes along you never know what yelich members will be in your life" she says laughing
"Oh shut up" I say laughing along with her
"He and you gotta date it's meant to be like Jesus I never wanted something more then the two of you"
"Oh your telling me sister" I say getting up from bed to go grab my bed from the guest room to change into my pajamas
"Is it wrong for me to be in here and not with the team " I say climbing back into bed with Larisa
"I won't judge if you don't" she says turning off the light by side her
