The problem with Black people
Is we spend more time talking about our ambitions than being ambitious
We talk about more moves than we make
Flexin on the gram
Because the money is the motive
And we spend more time with our twitter fingers than with our thoughts
Because we are taught not to aspire to inspire
Unless we are a Rapper, A ball player or the butt of your joke
can't aspire to inspire unless we play the stereotype roles that society has bestowed upon us
We are too busy trying to escape our Blackness
Because money and class absolves race
So we race for quick money and quick fame
Because quickness never comes quick enough
And since we can't achieve wealth we bath in its false profits
Which is why buy a braggadocious car just to flex
And we spend more money on our jordan collection that we do on expanding out mind
Because it cost nothin to expand your mind
And if I can't flawnt it like the chains I wear
And the brands I buy
Or the shoes I rock do I really need them
And you ask me what
The problem with Black people is
I will tell you it is that we care about idols and Images before ourself and our people
We spend more time divided
And try to tear each other down as if we were the berlin wall
We spend more time searching for clout before finding our own clerity
The problem with Black people is
Is that we have not learned to be unapologetically Black
