The world around me came to a stand still as I focused on Radec. He didn't move but stood like the statues around the city in honor of him. The others were far from me oblivious to my absence. It could be a good thing this could turn bloody and wouldn't want to bring harm to Kira or the others.
The ravager leaped from there position to mere feet away from me. Radec was chuckling to himself or to taunt me to become aggressive. These ravagers have twin Gatling along with flamethrowers, and rocket batteries stowed away underneath its thick armor plating. I was outgunned all I could do is play along.
*Radec speaking to Jameson*
"I didn't want to do that Jameson, all those people there lives now ash all because of your actions. You were supposed to be a loyal soldier to serve your nation not turn around and fight against it. You are a young man who's confused .
You have a choice Jameson come back to us and see your mother. Or you stay with them and never see your mother again as we will conduct horrible experiments on here not killing her but close enough to it.
My mom she's still ALIVE I couldn't believe it but he was right I had a choice. I rejoin them to save one life my mother. Or I stay and save millions to sacrifice one. I knew my choice well.
I let out a blood curling roar causing the others to turn around to see what was to become. I sprung into the air with haste knowing my or goal was to kill Radec.
Unfortunately the ravager smacked me out of the air with its leg causing be to soar backwards into a pile of rubble. My one chance one opportunity was lost. The others swiftly surrounded me a few of them fireing at the ravager that was clawing it's way up buildings and rooftops to escape. Everything went dark as the light quickly faded from my eyes and I fell into the darkness. My body was asleep but my mind was awake.
I failed, I failed my mother. I let the messenger get away I didn't prevent him from escaping. My anger overpowered my logic. Even though my body was asleep I still cried and metaphorically curled into a ball in failure.
